We have to be very careful to not upset UDE in any way, shape or form - or they could totally bollocks up the whole online play thing for us. Especially considering they are releasing they're own product in the future.

I think Kamiza means sth like that. From what i heard UDE is going to release an OCTGN like game but you'll have to buy the cards you want to play. I think, Correct me if I'm wrong but that's the impression I have.

The "official" online game you guys are talking about is being developed by Konami for the PSP, DS, and PC.

There is going to be some online component in addition to a single player (you vs the computer) mode. The pricing, if any, for the online mode has to be determined/revealed/solidified?

As I've mentioned many times before, we have an understanding with UDE not to put the patch out until after street date. It is a respect and a courtesy that we feel is warranted and necessary.

Yeah, so far from what I see, the Konami game will not be in competition at all with Octgn. They are two different beasts. Konami only has Marvel so far, and seems to be more of a fun "dumbed down" version on Vs. For example, each platform, PSP, DS, and PC, is supposed to have a different pool of cards available. It just seems to be more casual or fun based for the guy who wants to play online as one would play any other video game. Octgn, true to its name, seems to stick strictly to playtesting and preparing for RL tournaments.

We all respect that, were just anxious is all. :grin: Keep true to what you are doing. I prefer to come here and download the files I need without resorting to "slumming" or "backwater" download options that other online play options have to resort to due to not having similar respect for UDE. Also, ultimately, the game needs the make $$ to survive, and I am all for that.

Yeah, i got much love for the realworx team and eek and ryanDG. yall got respect for UDE and the game. I'm betting UDE won't bother u guys when they release their game into the market since you were kool about it earlier. But MWS? I smell a lawsuit.....

But it is a better program. Name one thing other than being able to record your games that Octagon does better? The interface for MWS is better. The look is better. The features are better. I don't understand how the programmers of Octagon think that their product is in the same league. There are so many bad things about that program. Like, getting a card fromy our deck. You have to send it to the KO pile to get it. Or the fact that there is no graphical display showing your attacks. The only reason anyone even uses Octagon is because MWS has ads on it and Tony didn't want to use it because of it and opted to use Octagon, the only other alternative.
