Yep i play it . the only reason i do is i dont have a vs deck and my wife likes yugi . but since u played a lot b4 u have some nerve talking like its a bad thing.

Create a 'broken' deck in the hope that the broken deck will get banned. Why? Because you don't WANT broken decks in the game.

People say that Enemy is broken. They build a deck with the hope of PROVING it's broken.

Considering that other 'broken' decks in the past have resulted in problem cards getting banned, that's a much better way of trying to get the card banned than just complaining in a thread.

Not saying that I agree with it, but the logic is sound. It's called being pro-active.

Well, actually the specific hope was making money with a relatively broken deck. We didn't do that badly on the whole.

yeah, i'll admit that i played it for a really LONG time, it was my first game, and you know what, it got boring as soon as Invasion of Chaos came out, every1 had the same deck, every game was the same, it all came down to who could topdeck the best, i top deck space, oh, you top deck graceful, into pot, into duo, how lame is that, and that happened everywhere and its still a horrible game, anyway, ur the idiot that left all ur vs crap on the bus, who knows where it is now, sell ur yugi crap and make a vs deck.

ure right ill admit that . i was on half and hour of sleep since pc sf ( 4 days total ) and i was distracted by my son ,wtf do u think im doing tard?? im trading a lot of my yugi for vs .I love vs more than yugi any day . cept yugi is my main way to get cards . i have a family to support so i dont buy cards ever.

Why can't UDE just print some cards to stop it? More cards like betrayal, flame trap(generic ones, not bad versions in spectral slaughter) to help these combo decks with 12 teams be weeded out? I do believe if flame trap was reprinted in the format there would be alot less complaining about enemy. I'm sure there are many other ways to help balance it out, any ideas?

A reprint of Flame Trap would help with all those silly degenerate ability-based weenie decks, but not so much with EoME's toolbox facilitation in general.

well, while i don't always agree with him, i can understand exactly where chdb is coming from on that one.

he recognizes that EoME is needed in every single deck that wants to compete in Silver Age.... and he recognizes that it is unhealthy for the game to be like that...
...but, he also wants to compete in tournaments.
so, he has to use it.

Saying that a card should be banned (edit: I don't recall if he went as far as to say this, and don't feel like looking it up) and then playing it is not hypocrisy.

Well, he DID say this (on too many threads to link to) and he did play it. Look up the definition of hypocrisy before talking out of your rear (as well as some evidence on his position regarding EoME before defending something you have no idea about).

No crime was committed here. Stop acting like one has been. I just find the situation humorous. I've pissed and moaned about Roy Harper since DOR was released, but it didn't stop me from playing Titans when money was on the line. Then again, I didn't feel the need to state my position publicly numerous times on every "the sky is falling" thread regarding Roy Harper.

no... that guy was making a choice to do somthing he knew was wrong.

chdb was making the choice to play the game (within its own guidelines) to the best of his ability.
