Actually i think alot will change with the new DC set, Arkham is looking for a new boost, who knows maybe even DE and Superman might get something from it.
Though "back in the day"(like 8 months ago) I had a friend that had an aiight Arkham exaustion deck, it wasn't that bad. Mind you it didnt win that much either lol, but thats probably because of bigger and better things like Brotherhood pump, Doom control etc. that were just too strong. I dont know, maybe if UDE had released it differently, with not so many flaws and in a different meta, these decks could have made a greater impact on the game.

Or maybe these so called "worst decks" are all a part of masterful evil plot constructed by UDE to lure us into a false sense of security and to take over the entire vs system universe with Arkham, DE and Superman, ROFL!!! Who knows???

well i know darkseid's elite is one of the mainstream teams in the next dc release.

i got wind also that arkham was looking at a revamp or atleast some new additions. Its also been a while since team superman got any input, who knows they might even do what they did with fantastic 4 and do a dual affil thing liek in HOG...

any ideas on what the next new DC team is??

they've already announced the teams for the next 3 sets. DE and Titans are getting redone next set along with Legion of Superheroes and their enemies (forgot the name), the next Marvel set is Spider Friends, Syndicate, Underworld, Defenders, and Wild pack I believe. The DC set after that is Gotham, Arkham, Team Superman, Revenge Squad, and Outsiders. So a big chunk of the bad teams right now are getting major help within the next year.

Why the HELL are they remaking Titans?

This is how bad Underworld and Crime Lords are. In order to make a deck for GA that was even semi playable I had to include:

Dr light
STTG
EomE
Slaughter
Detective Chimp
and like 7 people that werent on either team (like Ghost rider, Two Face, Blue Beetle and such)

In the end there were only 10 Crime lords and 11 Underworld guy.

Price of the Deck: more than you should spend on a MMK team up.

Being able to make everyone one Crime lords and Roscoe Sweeny for Two-Face: Priceless.

Also Dr Sun is AWSOME!!!


Also Team Superman needs a 5 drop Superman thats has stats that dont roll over and die, to current 5 drops.

Seriously, I hear people all the time talk about him sucking. But with Dr. Light, a Catcher's Mitt, and a team-up, you've got a really good combat stopper. Add in Talia on 5 and you could be playing a semi-combat lock deck. I like Dr. Sun.

Because UDE can probably build a team that doesn't at all mesh with the previous incarnation (see Brotherhood).

Someone here said that they'd probably focus on Ally when they rebuilt Titans, which sounds like a good guess.

yeah.... they could pretty safely print an awesome 3-drop for the "new" Titans.

Titans have a little Ally'ish theme already...
they've got Red Star, Tamaran, and New Teen Titans
(we don't like to talk about Bumblebee...)

i am sorry, but pcqs have to count, theres no point if you dont count them, so your going by 2 tournaments

spider-friends need work, but no where near suck, they have a good stall theme, with slaughter swamp, avalon space station, and now soul world, its hard to beat spidy 7. With that said, sttg is godly in that deck.

A guy on this site named bigdaddyrico top 8 with manhunters in a silver age pcq at 10k boston, he beat good guys, deep green, and x-static with friends, and it was pure manhunters and he top 8, so I think there decent as oppose to being one of the worst teams there.

If ur going by PC's and 10k's, then wouldnt everything suck, but HV, TT, CS, and what doom/dr. light related?

We all know what teams are absolutely horrible. But if I may, I'd like to say a word about Team Superman.

I love Team Superman. This brings me back to an old deck I built called The World's Finest Phantom Phone Booth. God, that deck was awesome. Supes everywhere, and a random Batman as an alternate at every drop, ramping up to BBBS on 8 and a possible Last Son of Krypton, depending on which side of the bed I got out of.

However, that doesn't excuse Team Superman from sucking. Playing defense is not their strong suit, I'll tell you that. I have spent many a night wondering why the protector of Earth can't put up a decent defensive shield. I guess UDE thought that the best defense was a stellar offense (Red, Avatar of Peace). And even then, you eat a stun every turn.

TS may not be THE WORST team in VS, but it's damn close. Even when you win, you almost feel like you've lost. I've wanted to chuck Big Blue and his pals out the window of a speeding car many a night out of sheer frustration.
