That I cannot answer Meltedminds. Actually I was toying with an Illuminati deck for kicks and it morphed into HC/IN beatdown. It is a fun deck to play.
Ok now I've updated the deck for a recent tournament coming up in my area. The format is GA but with one rule.. you can only use 4 rares, and 8 uncommons.. now as this deck is still one of my favorites and I didn't have to change much in it I'd like to get everyones opinions on it..

I've been playing a Hellfire/Inhuman Deck. Its a pretty fun deck to play. These are my suggestions.
-1 United Planets
-1 Substructure
-1 Death Trap (if you want to get down to 60 cards)
-4 Alpha Primitives
-1 Tempus
+ 1 Donald Pierce
+ 1 Blue Area of the Moon
+ 4 Hellfire Club Initiate (works well with Madelyne and more payment for the early Join the Club play to get Sage if needed)
+ 1 Power Play (looks like you're only using 3 of your alotted 4 rares.)
yeah san is actually better. the deck is very reliant on its locations and san ensuring one of them is much more important than sages filtering.
I don't know kingfish. I think I'm going to have to disagree with you. The deck is reliant on its locations, but not only is he running multiple copies of each, most of the locations have a cost of 3 or 4, so he's more likely to draw into it. Also, all of the Inhuman locations are terraform making it easier to get online. San is good, but I think Sage is better. Plus her filtering can get some of the locations that you don't need out of your hand.
i dont know. i just dont like relying on luck to hit hellfire club AND shaw industries when both are vital. plus tossing characters on turn 2 and 3 when you only have one location capable of getting them back? could make for a messy situation. im not saying it wont work, but i dont like relying on it. too bad lockjaws uncommon...
and if the format is ga, why deathtrap instead of finishing move? same effect but deathtrap just gives them a card back to discard for something.
You have a point, but I guess its a matter of how much risk you are willing to accept. But, as for this deck wouldn't Sage be better because he cannot use Lockjaw?
Oh yea good call, I second the use of Finishing Move over Deathtrap.
granted that there always has to be some risk involved, i just think that combining the sage discards AND joining the club discards is pretty dicey.
8 uncommons hurts, otherwise id say cut soul world and knock shaw industries down to 1 to put in lockjaws, but you need 4 joins. 1 shaw will work if you always tutor it with san.

Finishing Move is Uncommon, I prefer Sage over San.. and isn't the new Quicks an Uncommon??
And I think your right about the Initiates..
I used all 4 rares so no Power Play
I like options on 6 so I think the Tempus is gonna stay..
It's 61 on purpose.. I just like having 61 cards..
and I think I will put in another Blue Area..
