Superman: Last Son of Krypton is up now (at 021), very interesting mechanic. If there are other previews from today that I missed, let me know.
So, should I put question marks by all of the cards from last night? I mean, they are numbers from UD themselves, you'd think they'd be official. Right? ...right?
An interesting point of note: It looks like as in DJL (another Matt Hyra set) the word "The" not counted for capitalization purposes, hence The Joker before Matt Hagen.
Dick Grayson doesn't make sense because he is two after Nine Lives. That would mean either only one more plot twist/location/equipment for Gotham Knights and nobody before Dick in the Outsiders list or one person before Dick and "N" is the last letter in determining the plot twists/locations/equipment for Gotham Knights. That would mean that there is no Batman, Black Lightning, Dervish, Captain Marvel Jr. or Anissa Pierce<>Thunder (or only one of those characters). Either way, explain Batzarro to me and Doomsday.
(A) The earliest previews may have been shown before the set was finalized ... this could mean their numbers are incorrect. [Especially the first three in the article, but possibly the ones in Inquest/Scrye]. The ones we are seeing 'now' are the most likely to be correct.
(B) The images in the gallery might also be the numbers at the time of solicitation ... the set may have changed since that point in time.
I have a feeling the gallery ones are the most likely to be wrong, if anything is.
Hmmm...in the preview for Best of the Best, Zonos mentions a subset he called 'World's Finest' within the set, of cards like 'Best of the Best' and 'At their Finest' - Cards that work off both Batman and Superman. I wonder if they're grouped together on the list, between 189 (At Their Finest) and 201 (The Best of the Best). Probably not, second thought, because that would be 13 cards, and I doubt there are that many.
Are the plot twists in alphabetical order, by the by? Because that means we have 11 cards between 'At' and 'Best' - that's a lot. How many of those do you wanna suppose begins with 'Bat'?
The other problem is that, at most, the Gotham Knights would only have around 22 characters, and that's only if you consider For the Man Who Hs Everything to be the last TS support card (which is unlikely).
The Best of the Best is on the list now. My apologies for the delay (I have a summer job now, plus two parties to attend this week... so, chances are, I'll be saying that a lot during this set of previews unfortunately.)
Until further evidence arrises(sp?), I'm not comfortable doing anything to the cards with crazy numbers.
Okay, I can understand that. Two changes, even with that though. One relates and, like I have said, the art for Dick Grayson points to a card that is number 065 and not 064 as you have it.
