I'm the only St. Louis VS player going to the Elite Series because there's not one being held close by. Choices are 4 hours to Chicago and 6 to Nashville.

I am going and was planning on going to both Saturday and Sunday in my area. One in NJ and one in NY. They changed the day for NY so now, both are on Saturday. Not too smart. They would have gotten myself and at least 2 other people both days. Now NY attendance is 3 less because of that change. Disappointed because I wanted to support both stores and go to both.

So it looks like attendance could be poor. The thing is we can get an exact head count. On VSSystem.com they have the list of all the Elite Series. Tally them up and you have yourself some numbers. And this forum which represents (apparently to some) a small percentage of the actual VS players, we can tell with 'real math' how well VS is doing based on Elite series numbers.

So maybe when it's all over, everyone report their numbers, their results and see if we can't figure out things ourselves.

I think everyone should go regardless of the drive or prize support. As like the PC, this could be the last one. Or this may be the beginning of the boom. If you don't attend even though you 'realistically could', then you don't have a leg to stand on when arguing or complaining.
