What's BudPalmer up to lately?! Is he still good people?
He will always be good people. FB Message him and he'll answer. He's had a lot on his plate for the past year, more than anyone should have on their plate.
Bud, jwb, pg3wg, and I were all player/friends at the venue I ran. When clix stopped there in 2017 (that's a terrible story for another day) we started gaming at my place monthly. But with the COVID and me being a caregiver for my mom with Parkinsons, I had to put a hold on gaming at my place. So I haven't seen the Bud and the gang since March.
1944, Playing God (Hatred) - Manticora
That was pretty good.
No Sleep - Sam Roberts Band
A chill little jam. Kinda reminded me of the Monkees in this song.
Night Crawler - Judas Priest
Wow. This came out in 1990. That's crazy. Anyhow, a great song. Classic Priest. That feels weird to say. I think of anything up to Defenders of the Faith (1984) as "classic Priest", but with time moving on, this is now in that camp.
Noumenon and Phenomenon - Scar Symmetry
The music all heavy, and the drummer in the video is all "eh, it's Tuesday, whatevs".
No More Mr. Nice Guy - Alice Cooper
I have to listen to this again? It's better than that cover. Also, when it first started playing, I thought it was "Woman From Tokyo" by Deep Purple.
Naughty Girls Need Love To - Smantha Fox
I remember when this came out. I liked it back then just because she was hot and showed her boobs.
One Of These Days - Pink Floyd
So spacey. For a long time I thought the bass player was playing triplets, but it turns out it's a heavy echo. So I can never play this song correctly because of for how long I originally thought it was played.
Over The Line - TCM
A chill groove that can be put on a loop.
One - Metallica
Still pretty powerful. How do you guys stand on videos that have extra sounds/voices/noise that isn't in the original song? I'm not a fan. I just want to hear the music, not the extra stuff.
One Love - Bob Marley
A chill little jam.
One Mic - Nas
Nas is such a powerful rapper.
One On One - L.U.N.G.S.
Not bad. The rapping was good. The song is kinda stark, like it's missing something.
10001110101 - Clutch
A good song, but not playlist good. It has that Clutch sound, but not more.
I felt that the singer of Vanden Plas is a stronger singer than Don Dokken.
I have no problem with the singer, but I did not like that keyboard in there. Also, George Lynch is my favorite guitarist, so I'm going to be super critical of anyone covering his stuff.

I have heard from so many people who enjoy George Lynch's side projects more than his work with Dokken. Someone mentioned that Lynch had or almost had a side project with Corey Glover (Living Colour singer) If that did happen I would love to hear it or remember to look it up on youtube.

Pull Harder on the Strings of Your Martyr - Trivium https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d0dD59FYxJ4
That riff for the chorus is so heavy and melodic at the same time and messing with the tempo of the song.
Plague - Beyond the Embrace https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UXT3LY_d_jY
Man, I thought this band was going to make it big. They had that perfect mix of Metallica and Pantera but adding in that European metal's guitar melodies.
Prison Sex - Tool https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cUPV4OfNlt0
All around good band but they are way overhyped by their fan base mostly because it takes 10 years to put out an album. With all of their talents I always think that their drummer, Danny Carey is one of the most solid drummers around.

Play the Game Tonight - Kansas will forever be related to my first attempts at playing D&D in Junior High with some friends. We were lousy but damn we had fun, and this song must've played 3 or 4 times over the weekend.
Prime Time - Alan Parson Project Somehow I forgot to post Don't Answer Me during the Ds, so this is kind of like a makeup foul. My favorite live concert ever was Alan Parsons Project in St. Louis, the same week that The Band played there! So much awesomeness.
Primary - Good song but I like the moody songs. I always forget how new wave The Cure was before Disintegration.
Paralyzer - decent pop song. Stupid bit of trivia, the wife heard this song on the radio and thought they sounded familiar. After catching the video she realized she's listened to them seen them opening concerts before they renamed the band to Finger 11. She just happened to live near where they came from.
Porterville - Liked the song except the ending. CCR is always a solid listen. It is also amazing how many songs they put out in such a short time. I am surprised John Fogerty didn't burn himself out.
Play the Game Tonight - Kansas can be hit or miss with me and I really want to enjoy them. Thankfully I enjoyed this song.
Prime Time - Enjoyable song. Lately I have been learning about how much behind the scenes work (engineering/producing) Alan Parsons did and the iconic albums he worked on.
*rant*
BTW I wrote this because I am avoiding creating my lessons for online learning. Why? Because I desperately need a break and I just can't buckle down and finish my work and enjoy having more time at the end. I wish I could have that kind of willpower to get that gratification at the end.
*end rant*
