Just a question- since there are criteria for the contest that can result in our articles being removed if they're violated, would any of the contest judges be willing to accept and review possibly offending material (not necessarily the entire article, just the relevant sections) before we post it?

See, I've got this one joke in an article I'm working on that my husband swears is funny, but it may be a bit heavy on the innuendo.. I'd rather keep it in if I can, but I'd yank it rather than have my article be disqualified..

Umm.. did I miss an anouncement somewhere? Is the contest still running? The monthly article contest is about to run into October and it looks a lot like it was just forgotten. Does anyone have any news on this? I was pretty jazzed about it once upon a time, though I have to admit that the initial excitement has kinda worn off a smidge..

Hmm.. on the other hand- since it's been 5 months since the last prizes were awarded (wasn't it April?), is there any chance of the top 15 articles getting prizes? (3 winners x 5 months) Hey, I can hope! I might not make the top 3, but I'm usually in the top 10!

I understand that con season probably interfered with things a bit, but even just a "don't worry- we wrote down the winners a few months back and we'll be getting around to it" would be nice.
