I've used older Manhunters as a stand in for newer ones I didn't have enough of. Same for Brood at one point. As long as they're not all injured at the same time, just rotate as needed.

I prefer having the actual pieces but I'll fudge it if I must.

Not just home gaming. The receipt/incomplete tracking should be enough for a judge.
