I'm digging NJPW putting the heavyweight strap on Zach Sabre Jr., his catch as catch can style is amazing. Was surprised to learn Moxley beat Bryan Danielson for the AEW heavyweight title this past weekend. No way that's his last match, I smell a swerve.

I have not been keeping up with wrestling for a couple of months now. I'm in the down phase for that. Maybe in a year or two I will start checking it out again.

It's already Wed and halfway through October. I feel lost somewhere in time.

Happy Hump Day! I will be carving a pumpkin Saturday for a contest for the local businesses in my neighborhood. The business that I will be carving a pumpkin for is called Symbiote Collectibles. The plan is to carve a Venom jack-o’-lantern.

Any suggestions for an inspired, but not overly complicated, Halloween costume? Have a party coming up, but I'm a bit struggling with thinking of a costume. (it doesn't necessarily have to be scary/horror-themed)

Bought a couple Heroclix boosters for the first time in ages from our local comic shop. I wanted some of the DC Time Masters set, but we haven't ordered any (tells you how dead the clix scene is around here) so I settled for a couple Deadpool Weapon X boosters. 2nd booster had a Weapon X chase. I haven't followed prices on anything clix wise in a few years, but I was curious to see, so off to eBay I went. Yowza!!

I may have to reopen my trade thread and get a crap ton of the DC set or just sell it outright for like $125 and pay for all my comics and clix for the whole trip that day! Considering there were 14 or so boosters to choose from, and I grabbed those 2 at random, I will take it.

Many years ago, I worked in a steel mill. It was with National Steel in Illinois. I don't think people really realize how dangerous blast furnaces, hot strips, BOFs, and even simple galvanizing/wrapping warehouses can be. Heavy metal, big machines. Always aware that we had seen people die accidently, I used to listen to Rod Stewart albums to unwind and forget. Get off work at 7:00am, cross to the bar across the street, have a beer for breakfast. Heard his music in a movie soundtrack today, and it reminded me that life was much different when I was younger and braver.
