Colossus looks around. His job is to bide time for his team while they recoup. He will play target to the enemies. He will likely fall so they can recover. He doesn't see the nobility in the action, only that it is his only option.

Grabbing the Silver Samurai's sword, he pulls back hard enough to dislocate his enemies shoulder. If he is to go down, Peter thinks, this is the way he would have liked.

Ultrahumanite will Outwit DEO Agent's support, just to make sure she doesn't push to try that again. Otherwise, I'm just going to clear.

The Ultrahumanite saw, out of the corner of his eye, the woman attempting quick repairs on Iron Man.
"Oh no, my lovely, that will never do..."
He trained his weapon on her, and she couldn't concentrate enough to continue her repairs.

With Colossus in a vulnerable spot Batman moves in and takes out Silver Samurai in one swift move. Colossus is able to weakly shuffle out of the spotlight.

"My turn at bat," Iron Man says.

"Are you sure you're strong eoungh?" Agent Brennen queries.

"No." he says matter of factly.

"Sure could use you now, Hawkeye," he says and channeling all of his armor's lazers into his right hand he lifts it and points carefully. With Avalanche in his sights he launches a perfect shot. But Avalanche sees it and quickly creates a makeshift barrier of earth completely sparing him.

Agent Brennen pats him on the back. "Hawkeye would have been proud anyway, Avenger..."

Ultrahumanite will Outwit Colossus' Toughness.

Avalanche will try to hit Colossus. AV7 on DV13. He needs a 6. He rolls a 9. 2 more clicks to Colossus and he's down.

The Ultrahumanite raged as the Silver Samurai fell.
"Cretins! Incompetants!" He turned his weapon on Colossus, again forcing him out of his steel form. Avalanche didn't need anyone to tell him what to do. Another wave of stone and mortar hit Peter Rasputin and he fell unconscious.
"Excellent," the Ultrahumanite grunted, then loped over to stand over the Russian's limp form and menaced Iron Man and the DEO Agent.

Batman vs. Avalanche. Needs 8, rolls 6. A miss.

DEO will try to heal Iron Man. Needs 8, rolls 11. Healing roll is 2.

Hate to make you waste such a good healing roll, but you can't use Support when either the healer or the healee is based with an opposing figure, which was my whole point in moving Ultrahumanite over there last turn.

Do you want to change your last action? Or just pass?

Argh! Found that rule. Another one for me to complain about.

I guess I have to roll Iron Man to break away. He rolls a 4. Been luckier with this the last two tries than usual. He will carry DEO to B11, he's at B10. He'll pick up ho at C11.

Avalanche tried the same attack on Batman that he use don Colossus, but the Dark Knight had seen what the mutant could do and was ready for it. As soon as he saw Avalanche start his attack, Batman grabbed the edge of the HVAC unit he was standing next to. He pulled himself up into a quick one handed handstand on the top of the unit, and Avalanche's flying bricks and mortar struck the roof harmlessly where Batman had been moments before. Batman gracefully dropped back to his feet, only to have the Ultrahumanite close in for the kill.
