Yeah, I'm a bit confused by Justice League #1. Supposedly it takes place five years in the past while the rest of the DCnU is current. I assume that Justice League will somehow bridge the time gap somewhere down the road to fall in line with the rest of the new 52?
I assume so.
Action must be even further back, since Superman has his new duds. I presume it's just a little bit before.
That would have been PERFECT! I can't believe you delayed sharing this information by a day, and now it's quite possibly the worst thing that he could do. Timing is everything!
So you may recall the incident from Monday night where the guy hit a car and then drove right at me. Well my tales of car related woes just got way worse.
I was leaving for work today and when I got to my car I noticed the ash tray on the floor, empty. The ash tray us where I keep my change. Looks like someone broke into my car using a slim-jim or something. They made off with roughly 10 bucks in change, my maglite and the cord for my iPhone (which I just broke down a bought). They messed up my dad's car pretty badly as well (at least mine wasn't tore up). SO I was pissed but I guessed it could have been worse. And I didn't have to wait too long for that to happen. While on my way to work I was still upset and was taking inventory while driving. I took my eyes off the road just long enough to smack into a telephone pole. Car is totaled. Bud is sad and very angry with himself.
Catering to the lowest common denominator since Feb 2003.

That sucks. Same thing happened to my brother one time (As far as somebody breaking into his car for loose change). His theory was that if somebody broke into his car for $10 worth of change, the person must have needed it a whole lot more than HE did. On the other hand, totalling a car is never cool. Any idea if insurance will cover it, or are you SOL because nobody else was involved?

Holy crap, Bud! You gonna be okay?
I didn't go to Harvard or Yale but I can kick a man in the crotch as well as any other.
I'll get whatever the insurance company deems it is worth. Looks like I'll be owing the township a new telephone pole (and from what I hear, that's gonna cost me). Can't wait to see what my premiums go to after this one. At least the car was paid off for almost a year before I effed it up.
As for me, I'm sore. I know nothing is broken. I can't wait to see how much worse I feel tomorrow.
Looks like I'll be missing work for the rest of the week. Be doing some car shopping over the weekend.

Sorry to hear about that bud but I'm glad you're (relatively anyhow) ok.
You get checked out by someone? Post-collision trauma can really eff you up for days if not weeks after an accident. General muscle ache and headache type stuff.
If not, you really should.
If anyone asks, say you sneezed. Act of G_d and all that.

Act of games design?

I didn't say it!
But I probably should. Glad you're in better shape than your car, Bud.
If it makes you feel any better, I was a half-second away from my car being even more banged up than yours. Deer ran out in front of me on my way to work while I was doing about 65.

I'm really sorry to hear this. I hope things go well. I really should have just taken you out when I had the chance.
