N6: You Can’t Fight Fate

The smart young brit had been busy these past few nights, but tonight, she stayed in her lab. She was so entranced in her experiment, she didn’t hear the light knock at her door, or the footsteps closing behind her. Without a word, the attacker raised a large hammer and brought it down with a solid thunk.

The body slumped to the floor, dead immediately. The cute brunette crossed her arms and smiled proudly, then left without a word.

The man in the sharp suit drove down the backroads like a madman, his GPS calmly giving him directions while he screamed back in frustration. He had just gotten word that one of his teammates had fallen, and he was panicking. Finally he arrived at his address, and ran to the front door. He kicked in the door and saw a form holding a weapon in the darkness. Any other time, he’d have been more cautious, but these past few days had weighted heavy on him. He fired, the firey blast ripping through his target. Immediately, he knew something was wrong.

When he ran to the body, the final flickers of life left her, and he screamed in anguish… one of his oldest friends… this wasn’t supposed to happen.

Elsewhere, the beautiful woman at the computer console sat confidently, looking at her screen. “Well, that worked out better than I could have hoped.”

No sooner did her confident phrase leave her lips, that the sultry blond snuck up behind her, no subtly this time. Plunging a needle into the bespectacled beauty’s neck, the attacker’s hand clasped over her mouth. “Sssshhhh… don’t struggle.”

She tried… but it was useless, and less than a minute later, she was gone.

As the body fell, her killer could only look on in indifference. She shrugged her shoulders and left.

So apparently I tried to target a mafia member, I get misdirected to a townie, and then the mafia member I tried to kill gets offed by the serial killer anyhow.

Go figure.

I messed up the nights. I have only taken action 4 nights, missed two. Let me get the PM dates straight.

Well, unless Gfishfunk is lying about being Joan, he's most definitely not the serial killer. The SK is listed as being sultry blond, which Lucy Liu is most certainly not.

And given that Watson works with the police, I think it's safe to say that, again, unless Gfish is lying about his role, he's not with the mafia either.

Of course, this assumes that Gfish is being honest - no one has anything to contradict their claim at the moment, do they?

I can attest (and so can kontrol) that gfish does exactly what he says he does.
