Have you guys ever had a guy contact you about making a trade and then just vanish with no explanation in the middle of negotiations?

I had a guy contact me this morning about my constructs. He had one I needed, and I had one he needed. We both agreed that shipping for just one construct is a bit ridiculous, so he asked what else might work.
I responded with a list of other things I'm seeking.
He was lightning fast in responding to that message and had something else which would make the trade more worth while.
I sent a response, but for all of the speed he'd shown in earlier communication, he just went silent.
Seems pretty flaky to me. Should I have reservations about this trade?
The guy is probably the kind of guy who misses game night at his venue with no damn good excuse.
