Stan I hate you. Killing me day one! that was terrible!
I feel your pain, man. I was actually thrilled to get Chuckles despite zyx's joking about the guy. Seriously. I've always been a big fan of the character. He was the guy who got the dirtiest loneliest "sell your soul so others can stay innocent" jobs (kind-of the Scorpion Clan member of the Joe team). His character was pretty awesome in the "G.I. Joe Special Missions" series (where Larry Hama could write more realistic non-toy-advertisement stories).
Then IDW got their hands on Chuckles - using him in the "Cobra" limited and then ongoing series - and that was it for me. He was tied with Hawk as my favourite Joe and possibly even surpassed him. Why? Well, even though a lot of it is years old now I'm putting it in Spoilers because I'd rather people go check out the titles - you can even get them digital on Comixology and such - because it's a seriously great storyline.
Spoiler (Click in box to read)
1. Chuckles was so deep undercover to infiltrate the "rumoured organization that may or may not be called Cobra" that the only people who knew he was still alive were Hawk and Chuckle's contact/girlfriend, Jinx. He, basically, had to pass himself off as a criminal / terrorist for years and while he'd do what he could to also foil the actions of whatever group he was currently warming up to in an attempt to find out more about Cobra, a lot of the times he also had to just do some pretty dark acts.
2. Once Chuckles started to get noticed by Cobra, he goes and seduces the Baroness (actually Chameleon / Erika ) into an affair....even though she's married.
3. After getting in to Cobra, he had to prove he wasn't a plant so they brought out a spy they'd caught: Jinx. Chuckles executed her to keep the role going (she was dead no matter what).
4. Events lead to Chuckles to go entirely "off the grid", totally losing all contact with the Joe team while he goes after Cobra solo in a big way. During this time he gives one of the Crimson Twins the identifiable scar.
5. Despite "suspicions", Cobra Commander is so impressed by Chuckles - after he escapes a prison - that he brings Chuckles into the true Cobra organization (the prior one being a "diversion").
6. He goes deep enough "in character" that him and Big Boa - who's really changed from his original version and is seriously scary - are "best friends". When Chuckles final plans go into motion, he beats the tar out of Boa.
7. He keeps playing members of Cobra against each other until he can finally go for the big score. Incapacitating most of the Cobra elite (the "name" characters) he is then stopped by Cobra forces. The Commander had been playing a game all along with Chuckles...but the trick was on the Commander because Chuckles figured that's what the Commander was doing (think of the Sicilian Gambit). In the ensuing "meeting"...
8. Chuckles -kills- Cobra Commander. Straight out gets a gun away from his captors and blows the Commander's brains out the back of his helmet. Please tell me how many big names Snake-Eyes has killed? And it doesn't stop there...
9. Good-bye Xamot...and a majour part of the Cobra war machine. Chuckles had always known his mission was going to end in death. He just wanted to make sure to take out his targets before it was time for the curtain call. He beats the tar out of Xamot and then sets off the nukes in one of Cobra's "floating HQ's" (docked at a Cobra Island type of place). He dies, but takes out a huge chunk of Cobra forces - including Xamot - along with himself.
10. All the Joes just know some guy named Chuckles once tried to be a Joe and washed out of the program. They've no clue he's what set off the whole "contest for a new Cobra Commander" and ensuing events. He'll never be remembered as anything but a failure.
So, yeah, I was ticked when MSU killed me that fast because I know the theme too well. (I didn't see him go after Stan for that...)

Any suggestions?
Well, there are the tutorial modes but it sounds like you've done them.
On Game Modes, you can pick "Vs Computer" (so you don't have to wait forever for other RL players who may or may not be obnoxious).
(And Firefly was my purchase too - just something about the saboteur that always makes him an interesting character when he appears. Incidentally, "Vs Computer" allows you to choose from a few characters that you won't be able to purchase yet so kind-of "free preview").

Defeat the opposing command center, level up, gain gold/platinum/xp (more for wins than losses and more for contributing more to the victory), purchase all the characters you can...I don't think there's an 'end game' anymore than, say, League of Legends or Avengers Alliance or any of the FB games.

So "necro'ing" a bit because I thought folks might be interested to know there's a League of Legends-style game (still in Beta) of G.I. Joe over on Facebook (and they have Low-Light! and Cobra Commander...albeit the new guy but I still really want him).
