NO, YOU DO NOT HAVE TO DONATE TO PARTICIPATE IN THIS THREAD. PLEASE RESUME POSTING.
Hey! Who put you in charge of what you can and can't do to participate in this thread?
Saying that you do not have to donate to participate is far too much like a rule.
Did you hear the Prairie Home Companion bit from this weekend about how donating is like a root canal procedure?
Good stuff.
Aside from all that, there are LPC Guys posting in this thread. They brought some of that "Kill The Thread" bacteria with them, and the thread will, therefore, be feeling under the weather every once in a while like the OP is right now.

I am not trying to be in charge of anything. However, I feel the recent status quo has made it somewhat dangerous for members of the LPC. I am here, not to threaten anyone, but to keep the members of the LPC safe. This thread was originally a gift from the LPC, and it's in the LPC's best interest to keep this thread peaceful and viable.

We were talking remakes earlier, and I was noting the differences between callow, soulless cash-in and loving update. Turns out the Mr Peabody and Sherman is in the latter category, and actually really funny. I took a gamble on it and it paid off.
The ads make it look incredibly bad, but I guess the more intellectual jokes weren't trusted by the marketing folks.
NPR did a piece on it, and loved it. Turns out it was the first animated movie for the guy since Lion King, and he just wanted to wait til he found a property that felt right.
Well, if some stranger on the internet who uses too much Old Spice and names himself after a mouse gives it a vote of confidence, I guess I'll have to check it out.
Justify to me why this thread is necessary and I'll keep it open.
Otherwise, it just seems like a place to dump Old Spice on members (even if they are Members13) which doesn't make the realms a very welcoming looking place like a Texas Roadhouse or Outback.

We almost went to see it last night. I have no connection to it, but my wife is familiar with the original and likes what she's seen. She took a nap though instead, so looks like it'll be a midweek evening, or next weekend.
