Other than those, I kinda miss that guy around here! Heck, if I counted the guys I miss now on realms, there would be more than I know on here now probably.

The one day of the week when I can be online and all you peckerwoods are offline, probably having a life, taking the family out for a hike, going fishing, visiting relatives, having a picnic and all that crap, when you could be entertaining me. Fie to thee!

I wish I was fishing. I haven't done it in years. I used to do it every year then I got into college. Fly fishing was my game and I could cast like a man possessed...

...possessed by a fisherman. I even was pictured in a fishing magazine. My dream trip is to fly fish in Alaska for Salmon.

That is actually very cool. I used to fish the Great Lakes, a lot. Now I am lucky to get to some small lake or river a couple times a summer, other than teaching dozens of young city kids how to fish at the State Park I work at part time. That does not count as fishing, though if I pulled out a decent sized large mouth bass or Northern Pike I'd change my mind.

We don't have those fish readily available in MD. We do have the Chesapeake Bay and its watersheds which were fun to fish back in the day. Bluefish, Catfish, and Perch were the common targets for me and my dad. Occasionally we were lucky enough for a rock fish.

I'm back from Cali. Did it in under 3.5 hours. Mild traffic makes for a great trip. I could have a fabulous time there, but if I get stuck in traffic and the drive back is 6-7 hours, it makes the whole trip miserable.

How can you drive it too fast? It's a lawnmower.

I did none of those things, but I did relax and do some reading with my goofball dog curled up at my feet. That is, after her second attempt to jump up onto the bed, since the first failed miserably...

When I would go fishing with my grandfather growing up, I would cut the hook off and read or just daydream. It took him almost 2 years to catch on that I never caught a fish.
