As far as the grizzz/Truffle situation, clearly some sort of traitor/shapeshift/CMD or else Truffles is really hiding in plain sight. Thing is, I believe her power claim though I don't trust her info as much any more.
JoH and Rokk? It's JoH and Rokk. Two aggressive players who as far as I can tell have done more or less every thing I would expect them both to do. My problem is I can't read them very well so one or both could be town or scum. JoH was grizzz' mason so I can't discount him somehow making grizzz' name appear on Truffles' results nor can I discount Truffles fibbing. Also can't discount Rokk going after a known good player in JoH. I will agree that Rokk jumped to that a little quickly but scum power play or intuition is anyone's guess.
My gut? One of JoH or Rokk is scum but right now it's about 50/50. I'd rather get some info from a neutral/quiet player.
This is a very interesting post.
I agree with almost everything in it...until you do a 180 and declare all three of us to be suspects.
Healthy town paranoia? Or scum spreading out suspicion to see where the wind blows?
Being you just modded a game with a Town CMD'er you know it could be useful to Town as well (such as locking down remaining killers). I wouldn't lynch him for having that power. I would be ok for lynching him for potential holes in what he said - or maybe I should call them backtracks - and for acting in a pro-Mafia manner by not helping clear the Vig's name when he had key info.
Fair enough assessment of his play. But he admitted neutral. The thing with admitted neutrals is trusting their motivation. They can say all they want during the day that they are town-friendly but if they see an opening, they should be smart enough to take it whichever side they land on knowing they can win either way.
It goes back to yesterday. We thought the simplest explanation was the best with grizzz being lynched on Truffles' info. grizzz was town so clearly simplest isn't necessarily the best. Likewise today. The holes in grizzz story such as a CMDed RB on Darq and other things. Is the simplest explanation that he is fibbing? Probably. But that doesn't mean it's what happened.
If I had to guess, I would say he got sniffed at for pressure and is giving us all he can to avoid a lynch. The issue is that two scum just died so I feel that absent a clear scum lynch today, I would be ok lynching him or gfish for that matter. Gira for the power reasons and on the off chance that this is a shaky ruse. gfish for the endgame meta reasons of a player leaving in addition to whatever NKs.

Especially since I didn't go after you. Defended myself, yes, but pretty sure I didn't call you scummy as I totally understood why your initial gut reaction would be to grill me. So I'm not seeing where he said I jumped to "that" so quickly. (Though my personal goggles may be tainting my view which is why I mention this).

Given absence of a clear scum lynch, I say lynch the Neutral who was willing to help Mafia. It may be because as a Survivor it helps his win condition but that just shows he's a liability to us. I'd rather the guy whose done that go than someone who can, say, double the Vig.

Numbers as they are, I will be focusing on known or highly plausible townies. I have tried to target folks that will be doctored, so town info gatherers. Except Immortal_Raven, but I had to target someone on day 1. With the SK dead and a lot of mafia dead, I will keep focusing on known or suspected townies.

Hey man, I lynched mafia. Anything else has been me not paying attention due to me getting my game running. I don't even know where ice said he was a rb. Or what grizzz is.

That was more me agreeing with JoH's assessment that you did seem to jump to the mason-traitor option as opposed to the others. Maybe my recent game colored your view on that as well?
You and JoH both seemed to take center stage when the thread opened. If I mistook your back and forth as accusations instead of banter and discussion, that was my fault.
As for naming Rokk, JoH, and Truffles suspects, that was an overreach JoH. Just look at a bunch of recent games. If they've taught me anything it's that nothing, however likely or unlikely, is off the table. I don't really think Truffles is scum at this moment, but I can't dismiss the notion completely. I do still think there is a strong possibility that one of JoH or Rokk is scum trying to hide by being vocal. You both do that as town or scum. Right now, my gut says that whether I'm right or wrong.

*wildly bashes dolls together*
When did we lynch Mafia?
