I've sort of given up on the Disney Infinity series now. Version 1 the kid played alone almost exclusively. I tried to insist we should play version 2 together, but I was more interested in the missions while he was most interested in dicking around in the Toy Box. I doubt we'll get Disney Infinity 3.
Might get Skylanders Superchargers or Lego Dimensions though.

I didn't enjoy Infinity 2.0 that much because I'm not much of a builder on games. I don't have the time. 3.0 has had enough things to keep my attention and I enjoy the character selection a little better (Flynn, for example).

I would say, though, that Lego Dimensions is the way to go. The Portal "expansion" alone makes it a heck of a game.

The whole family loves the Lego Movie, so I do have a feeling this is the way to go. Spaceship, spaceship, SPAAACESHIIIIP!

Yeah. Wyldstar is in the main set and then Emmet and Bad Cop are already released. I think 80's Astronaut is as well. There's a whole Princess Unikitty mini-dimension coming up in one of the waves.

I do wish Flying Abe Lincoln was one of the figs but who knows down the line and, meanwhile, that's why there's the Lego Movie video game.

I saw, earlier today, that the Gollum pack comes with "Shelob the Great" so I guess I LotR has moved up on my list.

Crossing fingers that if the game does well we get some of the monster Legos that almost got me to break down and buy some Legos a few years back (the haunted train was sooooo tempting. That's the problem with Legos: I never had them as a kid but suspect they're a dangerous rabbit hole for me as I do keep eyeing the "build a figure" Obi-Wan and the Millennium Falcon. Frankly, my inability to not think of the price of the latter as absurd is the only thing that stopped that purchase.)


But I really do regret not getting the haunted train.
