WK kills the game every year but it keeps on chugging. I think that when it comes to collectible games in general is that there needs to be a new gimmick to take away the stagnation or make it seem so hip and cool that it brings in newer players so the game can keep on going.

This "death" of the game changes from person to person based on their perception of what they want their game to be and why they liked it in the first place.

I'm with vladthemanimpaler and Pizzabreath on the this one. It's probably a better game in nearly every way than it was 2 years ago, let's say. Okay, except for sketch variants.

Now, are the numbers on Realms and the numbers actively playing in tourneys down? Yeah, though some places still have strong showings. But I would love to have time to play more right now. The uber-resources period, along with ignoring play testing input and a couple other issues I used to have, seem to be better? At least I believe that.

On another note, in an unintended tribute to vlad, my Facebook presence and opinions roused the anger and superiority-complex chastising from people on both sides of the extremist views today. I'm both an Obama fanatic and a Trump follower evidently.

I genuinely think that SFSM is the best dialed set in Clix history. What a wonderful set. And it's the most recent Marvel set. As long as WK doesn't get carried away, the game is headed in a great direction.

I had some issues with Superior Foes, like my previously stated aversion to rarity correlating to power. My other main gripe was the remakes, some of which were particularly redundant. I get putting Ock in the set because he's a major villain and one that will help move a few boosters. But we didn't need another Ock so similar to the one that we just got in the OP kit. I can't remember if I mentioned this before or not, but I feel like a better choice if they were going to include Octavius would have been to do it specifically as a version from the Ends of the Earth/Dying Wish storylines, with a distinctive sculpt and dial to differentiate him from the previous versions.

I was trying to be facetious with the whole killing the game. Last time I was here, everyone kept claiming the game was dying because they didn't care for something that was happening. I just don't want to invest any more if there's going to be no more of my favorite team. I'm actually set to play some casual games next weekend. Hopefully I remember how to play.
