Those low dvs, even from the Iron Man set, are kinda meh. I suppose Magneto should take a shot, he couldn't ko him but he could hurt him a little more. He sides to I18 and attacks. Needs 6, rolls 11. (When you have pc, you don't need pc...). 1 more to him.

"But he's a ghost. My arrows went right through him," Trick Shot pointed out.

"Fool, do you think I don't have power over ghosts? If I say your arrows will hurt him, then they will hurt him."

"Okay, okay, don't get your panties in a knot," Trick Shot said, taking the shot. True to what Hela said, the arrow did indeed seem to hurt Lincoln's ghost quite a bit.

Mags sides to F17 attacking the two souls. Rolls 10. SS is 4 and 2. Done and done.

Abe's dial may be long but the end dial is hardly inspiring. For sentimental reasons, I'd love him to stay but sometimes I have to be real.

He's hardly the biggest target but she's just about all you're giving me. Danger rs to J14 attacking Newsboy. Needs 5, rolls 5. KOs him. She ports to G23. An aside---Danger's never been a favorite but this dial is pretty good.

Abe sides to M10 to block.

Sorry for the crickets yesterday. I thought I'd at least have time for my morning turn and then something came up I had to deal with.

Let's start with Polaris trying to heal up Iron Monger, AV10 on DV16. Gets 7. Support is 5.

I've been liking the interplay in the stories, so Hela on Lincoln, AV11 on DV16. Gets 4. Uses her own PC to make it 3. Well that's just pathetic. Firestorm makes it 4 again. Oh come on.

Iron Monger RS to G4 on Abe, AV10 on DV16. Gets 4. What the hell?

Firestorm Sides to G5, has a go. AV10, rolls 7. Finally, but I mean really, what was that?

Warrior Soul replaces Abe, teleports to H15, attack, predictably, Lila. AV10 on DV17. Gets 6.

Stuck with a replacement that I can't do anything with thanks to all the crummy rolls. Klara Prast enters, places a square of Hindering over Hela.

Kind of been forgetting to use the Reality Gem's Perplex (but really didn't think I Needed it on Lincoln's freaking 16). Hela Perplexes her own DV up one more.

"I've seen your realm, dark goddess. I've no desire to return to it," Lincoln said.

"Aw geez, I can't believe I'm siding with an evil death goddess against Abraham Lincoln. That's just wrong," Firestorm said, finally figuring out a way to capture Lincoln so that Hela could return him to the realm of the dead. "That was one of those decisions you're going to hate yourself forever for making."

"Maybe a flower will make you feel better," Klara Prast asked him, making one grow in the ground in front of him.

"That's really sweet, kid, thanks. But you gotta get out of here. It's damgerous," Firestorm warned her.

"Oh, it's okay. I'm kinda dangerous too."

I will miss Abe, I've a soft spot for him. Maybe he'll pop up in the Kang/Ultron Wars.

Danger on the closest warrior soul. Needs 6, gets 6.

The trick doesn't seem to work often but I'll snag Multiple Man. I'll bring in two WTX 205 versions and a GSX Madrox.

One ports to H15.

Jean tks the others to FG15.

While this isn't technically a New Mutants or X-Men theme, per se, I'd think we'd Lila to carry the Madroxes (the only end effect is you gaining more targets in your starting area).

If you don't see this as ok, I'll undo it but I'd guess this works for you. Heck, Magneto can even give them the X-Men keyword if it helps.

I'll move Lila F7 (I don't think she takes damage for it since she's moved more than 5 squares). Multiples in F8,9, Madrox in G9. Multiples will mm to Madrox.

Suddenly they appear in front of one of Hela's Warrior Souls.

"How do, I'm Multiple Man," one says slugging the warrior soul.

Another slugs him from behind, "Hey, so am I!".

"Weird," a third says finishing him off, "That's me, too."

"Man oh man," the first Multiple says looking down at the defeated Asgardian. "This never gets old."

Jackal starts by Poisoning the two Multiple Men. They don't roll SS, so it doesn't trigger their Trait.

He will Outwit Super Senses on the Multiple Man in F8

He will now try to Breakaway. Gets 4. Not with their Plasticity he won't. He attacks the Multiple Man that he Outwitted. AV10 on DV17. Gets 9. Does 3 to him.

Terra tries to TK Trick Shot away from Lila. Break is 5. Puts him in C6

Trick Shot RS to C5, uses EE on Lila and Madrox. This could really backfire with the Madroxes, but oh well. AV12, needs to hit 19 for Lila and 17 for Madrox. Gets 6. I"ll use Firestorm's PC. Another 6. Hela's PC makes it 8.

"Heh. Look at all the targets!" Trick Shot chortled. He launched an exploding arrow at one of the Multiple Men. It thrust him back into the wall, knocking him out, but also creating a duplicate. "Okay, that's...disturbing," Trick Shot admitted.

"Yes, let's not try that trick again, please," the Jackal said, fighting off Madroxes.

Ugh, I missed the poison.

Trick Shot should be in C5 with a token.

Nemesis shouldn't have a token. Needs 7 to heal Britain, rolls 8. He's healed.

Now back to where most of the action is, in your area. Madrox boosts Jaime's av to 10. Can he attack Klara? SC is 3. Needs 7, rolls 5.

Can James attack her? He boosts his own dv to 10. SC is 5. Jackal then. SC is 6. Man....

OK, I've still got a plan. Lila pushes and carries the Multiples to GH6 and I7. That's less than 5 squares, Lila is koed.

She wasn't on my list but I'm impressed by Hope Summers, the new version. The other Madrox boosts her av and she boosts her damage. She attacks Hela. Needs 6, twice, rolls 5. She can use Hela's powers and rerolls: 3. Man....

Nemesis sides to G23, boosts Kang's damage to 4.

Magneto tks Kang to D15.

Kang makes a portal in C18 and attacks Hela. Needs 7, rolls 10. 2 to her, 1 to Kang.

Jean freely tks Cap Britain to H14.

He charges to E10 attacking Jackal. SC is 2. Needs 6, rolls 5. Kang makes it 7. 3 to him.

Oh, and Hope can now poison Hela with Hela's own poison. She'll use Hela's outwit so Hela can't outwit.

"Ready for one more taxi ride?" Lila asks the Multiple Men, "Let's scram."

She teleports directly into Hela's path.

"Foolish woman," Hela says striking Lila down with ease, "Running into the path of the flame instead of away from it."

Hope Summers appears, having used Lila's teleportation powers to move in. "Don't me a hater," she says meeting her with fists, "We're all still learning."

Hela laughs. "You strike an Asgardian, girl. It will take more than your gifts to...".

She then punches her again using her own powers. "Like I said, we're all learning...".
