While I'm sure the Man of Steel can appreciate the Disco Pop of Dazzler, The Last Son of Krypton has not been exposed to many of the popular music sounds that exist in other universes.

Metallica - Master of Puppets...ohh wait thats mine!!!
Well, he IS the "man of steel", and he has been mind-controlled so often, he is like a puppet... it would only be fitting, if it were true. But, his being a small town boy, he probably likes something in a different venue.
Well, I once said there could be no greater betrayal of longtime Superman fans than Superman Returns, wherein the Man of Steel becomes a deadbeat dad; but I'm man enough to admit I was wrong.
There's a difference between "humanizing" and "degrading". I would expect a farm boy from Kansas to be attracted to country, or perhaps Southern rock. Although stories of "young Clark Kent" the metalhead could be funny, where he has to use his own heat vision, reflected in a mirror, to effect the multiple ear piercings.
Does this mean that young Conner Kent isn't really dead and Cassie will find him one day while she is wandering through some mall as the hunky guy running the Piercing Pagoda at one of those mall kiosks?
