Do you have any other back options other than Ridley at your RB2? Niners D is gonna have to be attacked through the air if at all...

That's a pretty solid team you're facing there. Looks like your lineup is about what I'd do too.

That's where I am leaning. I just have this one inkling holding me back. That Eli will go off.

I have Jaquizz Rogers who I could toss in, but our league does not reward return stats. So his upside isn't huge. Especially with Turner taking all his goal line scores. And our WW is a barren wasteland of trash.

In my one league, with the better team, I got crushed. Scored the lowest I've scored all season, and the 8th seed player scored the most he's scored. Of course.

But my other $ league was the most insane thing I've ever seen. I was getting beat down, down like 105 to 65. Suddenly I notice AZ scoring and scoring on Lions D, who my opponent started. Meanwhile I am practically in tears watching Russell Wilson sit on my bench going off, and just needing Big Ben, Wallace, and Heath Miller to get something for me. Suddenly there's a few plays here and there and the score is him 111, me 105.5. I still have Goskowski left, he has no one left. Pitt/Dallas goes to overtime and I'm like "If Big Ben can just hook up with Wallace or Miller for anything I'm practically going to win no matter what." Boom, PICK! GAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

so going into Patriots/49ers it's 111 to 103.5. I need Goskowski to score 8. And I'm just watching in horror at the niners are destroying the pats. There's absolutely no chance that they will be kicking field goals, and the Pats can't move the ball. And suddenly boom, boom, scoring scoring. But alas it's 111 to 110.5 with hardly any time left. I'm going to lose by half a point. Boom, boom, suddenly they are lining up for a field goal and I'm like what in the.... they are going for FG then onside kick?!?!?! WHAT?!?!?!!!! Boom, Goskowski hits the FG and I win!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hahahahahahahahahahaha. Guaranteeing me 2nd place and some $$$.

I, unfortunately, did start Freeman. Those 4 picks cost me. All my agonizing never mattered as Eli had 2 points and Freeman had 1 point. Needless to say I got crushed and am now playing for 3rd place to get my money back.

The only thing that kept me in the game was Blair Walsh. 25 freaking points for a kicker. Insane. If Freeman just hadn't of thrown so many picks I would have been fine.

Yea it was agonizing, I had Blair Walsh on my bench in one league and Russell Wilson on my bench in the other. Even if I had started Walsh it wouldn't of matter, but still.

I got blown out by almost 60 points However, I play for 3rd place which will give me my money back.

Advice time-should I use Andy Dalton or Russel Wilson as my QB this week?

Dalton is my first reaction.

I have Wilson and I'm not starting him. I have Wilson, Big Ben, and I'm not using either. I picked up Sam Bradford and am using him. might come back to bight me.

Wilson had the best case scenario game he could of had last week, but the week before the Seahawks scored a zillion points and he only scored 9. The Niners D made Brady look like a fool at the beginning of the Pats game - and I just don't see Wilson being able to make adjustments like Brady was able to and score like that on them.

If you go by both of their previous games against the same opponent neither looks like a great option. Dalton scored 8 last time against Pitt, Wilson 3 against Niners. It is later in the year so both have had time to get better as the season goes on. I could just totally see Wilson doing nothing against the Niners D. I could see Dalton at least giving you something.

All that being said, Bradford is going to score me -3 and I'll watch Wilson on the bench again scoring 40.

Yeah, out of the two, Dalton seems the way to go. But I agree, neither of them sound like a good choice.

Then again, I am starting Freeman in the league where I actually still have something to play for (3rd place and my money back). Maybe its time to check out the waiver wire...

In both leagues I'm playing for something.

My league with the better team, which somehow lost to the 8th seed (I scored my lowest of the season, he sored his highest of the season, so freaking lucky) playing for 3rd place/money back. So with that team I'm pretty set. only WW pickups I made were people I thought my opponent might want (TE for Baltimore, and the best matchup defense) just in case.

My other league I'm actually playing in the championship, with a team I did not think would get anywhere.

In that one I'm going with best matchup. I was able to pickup Bradford off the WW, and he is someone who hasn't done a ton over the season, but he hasn't really killed you. He usually gets like 13-17, and has a few higher games sprinkled in, but doesn't have like negative games or like 1-3 (except 2 games at very beginning).

He's playing against TB, the worst rated pass defense in the league. I have felt that I was playing for 2nd place the entire playoffs anyway, the guy I'm playing against has a crazy good team. I guess at this point I should really just swing for the fences, but Bradford just have like 30 some against the Vikings.

he's favored in everything except kicker and DP hahahaha. I'm toast! I'm still shocked I made it this far. I've had some awful injuries on this team. McCoy (even though he kinda sucked anyway), Gregg Jennings, and Percy Harvin.

So even though I am probably going to get crushed, I'm pretty happy with the results of managing my way into at least 2nd place.

Thanks. He's gotten me into the championship bracket, but that was mostly on the shoulders of CJ Spiller and Arian Foster.

I got crushed in my 3rd place match. 99 - 150+. Meh...I had such a horrible start to the season, I was 3-7 and still made it to top 6 for playoffs, so I'll just take that for what it is and be happy. And there was absolutely no way that I could have set my roster to have scored that many pts, so there's a bit of solace in that too.
