I was also trying out different teams with Vermin, Lockjaw, Armadillo, and my new favorite clix, Ursa Major. Also, it would have been nice to have Rocket Raccoon on there.

I do realize Wolfsbane is not a male, but she has more b**** then a lot of the characters around that point value.

Do you have another cheese team besides that one?

As for me, I am really liking this Maelstrom/Infinity Gauntlet thing. At 300 points you have to be very careful as to who else you put on the team, but if you can find the right balance, its crazy effective. In Golden Age I think I am going with 2 Exp Lockjaws.

In Modern Age the options are far more limited. Lightspeed is a good option right now, but come Gen-Con that option will go away.

I am also INCREDIBLY tempted to try the Gauntlet with Thor: Frog of Thunder. The lil' guy is already nigh unto impossible to KO. Ramp up his offense to eleven and I think it could be a glorious thing. Maybe a Gauntlet infused Pet Avengers team? It'd be worth a try.

I don't really consider the Darkseid team cheese as I am sacrificing some mobility for the sake of a big canon. It can go down hard against the right team.

The Friday one can only be categorized as cheese. Yet, it is kind of a one-trick pony. If I don't pretty much have the game early I could be in trouble. It is a beatable team, but it can also gut a team very quickly.

I think he was saying that Ken already knows because Ken's not going to be there. He is keeping his cheese team secret from anyone who might be going to the Friday venue.

On Friday, Ken and I were talking about unusual tactics for the IG2 event. I told him about a team that I was working on for next Friday. On Saturday I completed what that team will be and PM'ed it to him.

You asked why I sent it to him and didn't post it. The reason is that Ken isn't planning on being at Got Comics on Friday, so I wasn't worried about him knowing the team.

I have already posted my Wednesday Darkseid team before.

You posted your "Cheese" team temporarily, though. Did you take it down because you're afraid of people that MIGHT see it? Or was it so I didn't memorize it so I could plan for it?

I wasn't sure if I wanted it up in the first place, but put it up anyway. When no one commented at all in 4-5 hours I went ahead and took it down since no one was interested.

Wasn't worried about you planning for it as I also outright said how to beat it. There are probably 20 different other ways to be it but I listed the top two.

It was also posted yesterday, so that had something to do witht the no comments thing. This thread D I E S on the weekend. SOL and I had our little discussion, but other than that, there were only a handful of other posts. There have been less than 24 posts in 24 hours.
