I'll watch River Monsters if it's on when I turn on the TV, which is pretty rare. Midnight showing of Avengers was incredibly enjoyable. Watching it again when I get the chance.

Along these lines.

We have a sales rep at work that hunts a lot.

He killed a bear with a Bow on a hunt one time from a tree stand. He said that was the scariest thing that has ever happened. He had killed a deer was on his way back to his tree stand to get the rest of his gear so he smelled like a wounded bloody deer. He made it to his tree stand and killed it while it was swiping at him in the tree stand.



The funniest story is about him turkey hunting.

He had shot a turkey, and retreived it and put it in his backpack. Well unfortunately the shot did not kill it, just knocked it out. It woke up angry and stuffed into a canvas bag. So it proceeded to start calling, kicking, flapping and pecking trying to get out. Before the salesrep could get the backack off and the turkey free itself he was completely cut up and scratched. He came in the following Monday looking like he had been in a car accident from the cuts and bruises.

So this guy killed a bear with a bow and survived, but was beaten by a turkey with a gunshot wound.





And about golf, I was playing in South Carolina once and hit a ball just over an elevated green on a par 3 and when I got over to where I could see it, my ball had come to rest against a 4 or 5 foot alligator. The way the hole was designed I got within 10 feet of the ball before I could see it. That was much to close for me, I left the ball.

If I had the Avengers Movie pieces, I'd run every version of the Warriors Three made (which comes to 800 points), plus AM Heimdall and LE Gharskygt. You'll be at 996 points.

I built a 990ish point team with nothing but Wolverines and used no exact dupes (Fig #).

I can see if I can find that if you are interested.

I've done something similar with 500 points of Iron Man. Actually, I played the all-Wolverine team recently...

So what/when is the next real booster expansion after Chaos Wars? Is that Batman? I'm all Marveled out.

I'm angry with myself this morning. I've been wondering where my new HCRealms shirt is that I was working on. Well, it appears I never put the order through, so all of the discounts I was going to get are expired. BOOOO ME!

While we're at it, I'm booing Diamond for not getting out my venue's FCBD figures in time for Saturday. Apparently, the shop's getting those a couple of week from now, thanks to some misplaced paperwork on the part of the Diamond rep.

Thankfully, Alliance sent out the Thor marquee figs early so the venue will be offering those instead.

Still, the players will probably blame me for it.

That reminds me I need to email my players that my venue will not be handing out FCBD Thors on FCBD.

My venue decided the FCBD figures were just too expensive to give out to the general public. They bought enough to cover the regular players and we'll privately give those out at the next event.
