The classic what ifs would be cool too I just haven't had any luck finding the trades with hem in them.
The 4 galatic guardian LEs were from the Newer Fantatic Four What If in the more modern run.
MY run of What If was the one I linked to. And it ended when they started the "featuring" crap. Still, I wouldn't be opposed to the oder stuff. And yes, now that you mention it, I remember those 4 LE's I snagged them all right when they were released. Love that concept.
Good deal, man. I could have sworn I texted you a happy one, but looking at my phone, I guess I thought to, but got distracted. My bad, man. I'm glad you had a great one though.
No worries, dude. It was a holiday weekend and I am sure that everyone was busy. Plus, if you think about it - LOOK STAN!!! A SHINY OBJECT!!!! BEING CARRIED OFF BY A SQUIRREL!!!!!

Thanks, it was a very laid back day. I decided to give myself a "day off" and get some much-needed daddy/daughter quality time. I didn't go near my computer and instead chilled with my girls. Don't seem to be able to get days like that too often any more...

Red Son was awesome, especially if you're older (35+) and can appreciate the Cold War era vis-a-vis the post Cold War era. And this coming from someone who generally dislikes the character.
I never read AoA, so I'll just continue to torture you AoA fans...

I'm not that old but I'll put red son on my shopping list. Other than Red Son are any of the be other DC AUs worth a read? I was thinking about picking up a couple flashpoints but I wasn't sure enough.
You really should check out AoA I really enjoy alternate universes to start with but that one was so well done and in depth
. they did the trades stupid volume 1 doesn't actually start the story, instead its a collection of side stories. The actual AoA starts in volume 2

My cousin used to own a chain of bookstores and right before the chain closed, he got into TPB sales. He managed to hook me up with all 4 AoA trades plus X-tinction Agenda, and X-Cutioner's Song for $30. It was awesome. Only thing he couldn't snag for me was Fatal Attractions, and I managed to buy that years later for $10. Now if only they'd reprint the Phalanx Covenant in TPB format.
I heard that the new Avengers book is bringinig in a lot of thew classic alternate reality storylines, true? Been like a year since I've actually read a comic...
"Why would the possibility of me being wrong ever stop me from doing something?"
JSA: Liberty Files is a hoot. Think Batman meets Casablanca.
If anyone is interested in this story, I'd gladly trade you my copy. it was a fun read, but not my cup of tea when it comes to alternate reality stuff. It was very pulpy.
Yeah. It was purchased online so the cost of return shipping alone would screw me. The TV is nice. I just wish it had the inputs it advertised when I bought it. And yes, the RCA irony will end up costing me $30 of the $50 I saved.
Hey hail, I bought that RCA-->HDMI converter, hooked it up, and...nothing. it doesn't work at all. My TV gets no signal whatsoever. Makes me wonder if the power adapter isn't shot or something.

That wouldn't surprise me. Did it come with an adapter, or did you have to get one separately?
EDIT: Okay, another idea - is there possibly a dipswitch or selector that allows you to change the wattage between 110 and 220? Because it might be set to 220 as a default.

It came with it. There is a switch, but it's got letters on it. No clue what that means. At this point I'm out $32 for the converter and $15 for the HDMI 4' cable. Even more if I need to buy another power adater. Should have just bought a darn TV with the right inputs. Wish the site I bought it on wasn't full of crap about what they advertised. It said it had RCA inputs.
