So poor Max Mercury has been crit hit, and suffered a crit miss this game. Now, I don't have this version available to me yet, but the 82 pt version from Flash has the following power

A TRIP THROUGH THE SPEED FORCE: At the beginning of your turn, you may remove any number of Speed tokens from this card to heal Max Mercury of that many clicks.

I know it's not regeneration, but will this have any impact on avoiding injury or a potential benching?

Double nope. You have to have the version available that has regen, in fact it may even need to be the one being played in the match. And also, not regen. Sorry man.

It was Johnny who had the crit miss. Max, while injured, shouldn't be on IR.

I rolled 3 crithits/misses on the same attack roll in my game against xfactor.

We're definitely going to be limping into round 4. Yowza!
