I enjoyed it again. I think it efficiently sets up the rules, follows through on them, and is satisfying. And Jeff Daniels gets to be a badass, and that's nice to see.

Expendables 2. It was a little less exciting than the first one since it was playing its star power for laughs. Kinda killed the excitement of the big fights for me since they intentionally went so cheesy.

I liked most of Looper, but I feel like it abandons its rules at the end.

If nothing else, JGL could have just shot his foot off to stop Bruce Willis. Otherwise, none of the rest of the movie happens, because Old Willis never escaped his loop-closing because he never got old.
But during the movie, you never notice that.

Come on, when Chuck Norris shows up that was brilliant.

I got really pissed that JGL didn't blow off his hand to prevent Willis from using the gun. I still like the movie, but that part drives me crazy.

If by brilliant you mean jumping onto a joke years after it's lost its luster, then I agree. The entire movie was too kitschy and self-congratulatory over its casting for my taste. If I want to see Arnold, Bruce, Chuck, and Stallone congratulate themselves on acting in a single film together, I'll watch the DVD extras.
The biggest problem though, is that the action scenes were pretty boring. Plenty of shooting without any style or substance to keep it fun (Jet Li's fight in the beginning of the movie may have been the best one). There's no excuse for boring action scenes when you have that many stars together.
Just got done watching two of the Marvel Knights motion comics: Ultimate Wolverine vs. Hulk and Wolverine vs. Sabretooth. I think Steve Blum's portrayal of Wolverine has spoiled me, because like a lot of the MK stuff, the voice work is left kinda wanting.
My fiancé and I watched Caddyshack a couple nights ago. Still great to this day. Especially after watching the Making Of Caddyshack show that had been on TV Sunday night.
Finally snagged Thor 2 from Redbox. Really pretty forgettable overall. The best parts were the after the credits scene and the "All Hail the King" one-shot. Really made me want Marvel to have a one-shot before all of their features.

THIS we can def. agree on. LOVE Jeff Daniels.

Frozen for the first time. Just incredible how Disney's own in-house movies have stepped up their game over the last couple years. Really good, though I do like Tangled more, as that seems to be the film to compare this sort of feature to.
Josie & The #####cats for like, the fiftieth time. The recent news about the Jem & The Holograms movie inspired me to put it on and wonder if that'll be anywhere near as tongue-in-cheek as this was.
Rented Machete Kills tonight. The kind of movie that's gloriously insane, but even a movie that's bat#### crazy on purpose should still have the good sense to come up with a real conclusion and not just a totally blatant setup for another sequel.
