I do this from time to time and it's great. It's actually really good with several vegetables: green beans, green peppers, cucumber, etc.

It's amazing what simple salt can do to simple flavors.

If you don't like tomatoes, then of course this would make no sense to you. But, I like tomatoes. I think they're delicious. I can eat a wedge or a slice of tomato on its own; nothing else added.

That's why I said by choice. Actual food allergies are not part of my rant. I may be a curmudgeon at times but I am not an idiot about medical things.

I like tomatoes, but I dislike slicing them.

I've been getting cherry tomatoes/grape tomatoes as a snack lately, so I have something healthier to snack on than my usual diet of potato chips and oreos.

Some of the things included are your list were actual food allergies, though, so I can see why Norym wanted to point that out.

I have had to take a friend to the the ER before because of products not being labeled and it triggering her food allergies.

Putting a few lines of text on a menu might be very mildly inconvenient for some people, but not including that text can lead to serious health issues for others.
