Is it multi player or one on one? How are there rounds I'd it's multi? Who came up with this idea?
It is a multiplayer game. There will be 2-3 maps, depending on how many people show up.
There are no rounds and no win/loss records (sorry rank sharks). You stay on the one map for as long as you want to play or the store closes.
Figured it would be a nice change of pace from the past few months. Gives players a chance to use alot of figures and have a good 'ol fashion sloberknocker.
With a scenario this complex, you know it had to come from me.
....or Christopher Nolan. Inception is the Bomb Tits! :knockedou
I don't want to play a game of chess where dumb luck or money decides whether or not I get to use a rook... Collectibility is a necessary evil of Heroclix, not a boon.
Player 1 starts the game
Player 2 takes his turn
Player 3 takes his turn
Player 4 takes his turn
Round 1 is complete
Player 1 takes his turn
Player 2 takes his turn
Player 3 takes his turn
Player 4 takes his turn
Round 2 is complete
Every player adds 100pts to the map
Player 1 takes his turn
Player 2 takes his turn
Player 3 takes his turn
Player 4 takes his turn
Round 3 is complete
Player 1 takes his turn
Player 2 takes his turn
Player 3 takes his turn
Player 4 takes his turn
Round 4 is complete
Every player adds 150pts to the map
Player 1 takes his turn
Player 2 takes his turn
Player 3 takes his turn
Player 4 takes his turn
Round 5 is complete
Player 1 takes his turn
Player 2 takes his turn
Player 3 takes his turn
Player 4 takes his turn
Round 6 is complete
Every player adds 200pts to the map
Wash, rinse, repeat until you don't feel like playing anymore.

In October (if you didn't know I said it like four times) I will be running a release party at Action Comics for this game. If you are remotely interested by all means show up. I may do release partys at Battlezone and LSoM as well.
if you read this then you lost 10 seconds you'll never get back.

That is soooo weird. The guy in the video looks a lot like you.
My thoughts on the format for "Chase for lanterns two"
All "based" upon a spider-man "theme".
1 - Street level hero (200 point team. No member over 50 points. Modern age).
2 - Avenger team member (300 point Theme Team. Silver age).
3 - Related to Golden Oldie - (400 point team. Golden Age). No Anti Monitor.
4 - Still beats the cosmic big boys (500 point team. One member must have the power cosmic or Quintessence ability. THAT figure can be golden or Modern age. The others must be Modern age). No Anti Monitor. So the legals are...
This ALSO includes those figures that can use either ability on part of their dial, but do not have the TA. Example:
182 CR037 Kyle Rayner
As like last time, no dupes. You use a figure on one team, it cant be used again.
I'm thinking third weekend in August.
Input [and attendance] wanted by all of you guys.
Clarifications
- The 300 point theme team must be unique. Not generic.
- No feats are used in any of the rounds. Just figures.
- If the tournament takes place after watchmen releases, then Watchmen will be legal for the tournament.
Please state preferences for the date. 8/21 (before Watchmen) or 8/28 (after).
This is also a personal shout-out to those who havent been coming to Comic Oasis to come and play. Jim. Unsung. Doom. Waagh.
Those who dont make the finals, I have a Battle royal planned for an alternate prize. So please do consider coming.

Hmm, I can't really afford any new games, so I probably won't be out. But you guys had a nice looking display out there. I liked the terrain.
