That Venom's okay. I like having the option to Psy Blast for 2 or slam someone with a rock for 4, even if his opening numbers are just ok.
The mid-dial 10 attack 4 base damage can be a nasty surprise if you get hit onto it. Decent 70-pointer. I'm curious to see what Daken looks like, and the probable Dark Avengers ATA, so we can get a feel for the whole team.

The entire tournament uses no feats. No dupes for figs or objects (Highlander).

300 - Unique (non-generic) theme team. Silver (LOSH and up, including objects)

Watchmen is legal. Jonah Hex is legal. Spiderman is not legal (should you even have any).

I dont think that was necessary at all. You could have eliminated the last two posts and left everything else.

I'd say to delete this user's posts and restore the thread. Look at the sig. "Instigator". What this person evidently wanted was to erase the thread. And you complied.

If there were issues in the last few posts, please look at WHO was instigating it. This same person.

Not really.. there were 20+ posts related to that argument spawning over 4 pages.. So it took time to weed through and fix the thread.

As someone who does not frequent the Las Vegas thread since I do not live there. You guys need to start policing your own thread with the report button. If you see stuff like this happening again you need to report it before it goes out of hand so it can be more easily addressed.

That being said, I went back and fixed the old thread and re-merged it back. But it is 440 pages which is way above the page count typhon likes.

So please let me know How far back in pages you'd like me to keep around so we don't see a certain site owner archive this thread.

1st round vs: E-2 Supes +Fortitude, Shazadam (Shazam only), Jakeem Thunder, Vet Mr. terrific +Protected, U Sandman, maybe one other.

Opponent picks the map with the tank in the middle.

He moves up full bore so that E-2 is within striking charge distance if I move only 4 spaces up. I move up 3 and sit tight with Cosmic King and Empress sitting back in first turn immunity. Second round he moves up with Jakeem, Sandman, and Mr. Teriffic sitting in hindering enjoying the 19D. I wipe. Third round he moves into a cluster in hindering having E-2, Shazam and his whole team enjoying the group love. I look at Contingency Plan which has two counters on it. Anarky bounces up top. Outwits Mr. Terrific's outwit (Having outwitted Pulse Wave) and Cosmic King TK's out Emerald Eye! Six or better....an 8. His whole team took 4 each (and Anarky takes 4 for getting too good a look at the offense.

And that's when he swipes the map in disgust, tells me Nova Blast should be banned and that he doesn't care...he gets all my points. He's out. I oblige and that's it.

2nd round vs Metron + Alias, Wizard Shazam, SR Loki, SI Dr. Strange, Diana Prince AE, Checkmate Agent (White)

He wins map and picks Indy Temple. He also mentions he's superstitious and asks me not to pick one side....I don't oblige.

Metron comes up to outwit but he stays in hindering. Joker gets LAMPed up and for some reason my opponent pushes to attack Joker and hits, MM'ing it to Lockjaw. And in the process takes 2 clicks auto. Then blocking LoF to Metron Ult Thor RS's up to a spot in the blind where he can shoot Loki who for some reason doesn't have anybody to Mastermind to within 4 spaces and connects. The mystic damage never played and luckily getting rid of one of the PC's was all I needed. Metron rolls 1 Impervious and 6 SS rolls. But Empress nails everybody for an extra 4 with Nova Blast and that's that. Full points. Didn't lose anybody.

I actually win map roll (never thought I would) and picked the Crash Sight for lots of hindering terrain.

I move up agressively and set up the chuck. He keeps everybody within a couple spaces and Emerald blasts everybody for 4. I play a little looser but opponent admits the games over. He ends up getting Ult Thor and Emerald and I clear everybody.

There was another guy who ran a Illuminati Brilliant Perplex supersquad (and also apparently turtled in his starting area the whole time) who went 3-0 but lost on points as I cleared everybody every turn.

People were not happy with me. You can tell. But .........this time it was about business. My team was far from perfect but it had some pretty decent counters for all sorts of perplexing nastiness (ran Overconfidence as a BFC). I don't care what anybody says...Anarky is annoying. He was crucial to my team and was never touched once. Complete support awesomeness! Karma as a threat was only that...a threat. But sometimes it's good to make your opponent see what's in your hand and not in your other hand.

I hardly ever run Nova Blast (only twice before today) and I abhor Cont. Plan to the nth degree. But I made an exception and I'm glad I did. Will not run those cards for a long, long time, if I can help it. Not only did I win but a guy who went to GenCon had brought back the new Bullseye and....... A SR MYSTERIO!!!!! Look fantastic! Cannot wait to get one.

And oh...forgot....best part...... got to wear my Orange Lantern shirt finally! *MINE*

Seriously, how did everyone you played against fall for this? One opponent, mmmmabye two... but ALL of them?

You see Nova Blast on someone, you HIT them... ONCE! or at least you don't cluster your guys all together. I mean, who looks at your build, seriously, and just puts all their guys in a big cluster in the middle of the map?

You earned that win for all your opponents being daffy. A true show of your general superiority.
