About to head out and spend the rest of the day volunteering for FCBD at my venue.

I'll be at my venue in a couple of hours for FCBD, too!

I'm hoping the LCS will have some left over Thors tomorrow. I have to work all day and I'll be stopping in before Clix to pick up some comics.

So I totally did my part about spreading the word about heroclixs by getting retweeted by CNN mentioning free comic book day Thor...

So, no Thors sadly . Also the kid that's been playing Heroclixs with us cherry picked out an Odin chase. Then admitted to the judge he was the one who cherry picked out the Loki chases from the two Targets :-/. Though did get a 25% off coupon for something in the store with some restrictions (you couldn't use it on random booster type stuff for some reason). Picked up the trade of what sets off the AvX stuff, mostly because I saw my buddy Cable on the cover kicking the butt of the Avengers...

My B-n-M got zero Thors.
Had to go to the 2nd venue to get one.

I was told via text message as I was leaving. Didn't see him but he was recently kicked out of D&D encounters. Looks like he's getting close to being kicked from clixs as well...might be best to let him be his own downfall. He's kicked out of most the RPG/gaming groups around town already.

Aargh! Didn't get the Mouse Guard FCBD freebie that I wanted. Actually, didn't get to pick up a lot of books. Line started forming outside the venue at 8 a.m.

Ah well, the Clix players still helped raise more than $500 in donations.

The hard cover one? Cause I totally got that one...

That's the one. Those went fast at my shop. I was setting up for a tournament while the line was moving so I was only able to grab copies Yo Gabba Gabba and Serenity/Star Wars when it was all said and done.

Ahh, for some reason no one was picking up the Mouse Guard ones at ours. Yo Gabba Gabba went pretty fast though.

Mouse Guard was the first one gone. Luckily the venue's owner let the volunteers get first picks and it looked like my wife's kinda thing, so I grabbed.

She liked it, so all's good.

I got the Thor, and bought the Avengers fake-brick for $20. No comics were left by the time I got there.
