I liked Prometheus a lot and don't get why it got such a bad rap. It's definitely better than some of the other films in the franchise.

(I also didn't even realize it was part of the franchise when I first went to see it. I knew nothing going in except that the girl I was dating at the time said she wanted to see it, so I went. About a third of the way through, I suddenly realized what it was.)

I want to see covenant, but I'll probably wait til it migrates to the cheaper theater around here.

I haven't seen either. There was a time I would have seen both the first week. Weird how priorities can change as we move through the years.

I'll still always put the Guthrie up top due to the balcony seating, but that one is good, too.

Side note: The Cinema 8 is where that young ticket-taker girl asked me about my "I am the man from Nantucket" shirt.

Yes. It's not as nice as the newer one by Lowe's, but the prices are much better.
