So how did it go at oasis today?

On Wednesday 9/08 I bought a brick of WoS and I bought a Watchmen collector's set. I just wanted everyone to know the High quality of the sculpts and paint jobs of the figures contained within. The (golden age) Silk Specter is Gorgeous. She looks like a classic Barbie doll. I would like everyone's excitement level for the Watchmen event (9/18) to be elevated with this news. My (80's) Silk Specter did not have a broken arm! There was no damage to any figure contained within. The quality of the figs for a set you never planned on buying is probably unimportant to some of you. However, for the price of 2 boosters you can possibly get (up to) 5 figs from this fantastic set! PLUS the other prizes that will be handed out as well! So come on down and check it out!

Also to add, Unsung's tourney is later on sat than the Action tourney, if anyone can make either I reccomend Unsung's. People are welcome to show at Action's but we do have regulars there that wouldn't normally make it to other venues. Due to scheduling this sat is the next date we can schedule a HC tournament, next sat (9/25)is a major MTG release.

A 4th quarter comeback win for our 2nd year QB who has a broken thumb. In the rain no less. That kid is going to be something special. The team showed a lot, led by Mr. Josh Freeman. They never gave up and fought and clawed and took it right to the Browns.

And the Cheerleaders...ah the cheerleaders...all wet in the rain....


Now I know what you nay-sayers are going to nay-say. It was against the Browns, who are only projected as a 6-7 win team. You have the Saints and Falcons in your division. The Bucs are only projected to win 4 games this year. It's going to be a long season.

And they are right. But I have a consolation prize.
