Do woman like coffee? I couldn't find her after class today and didn't want to seem like creepy stalker guy trying to find her...she sits on the far side of the classroom, I think I got out of there to quickly or something today though -_-; not like quick quick, but quicker then her quickly

It's not about liking or not liking coffee. You ask for coffee when you want to have some private time with someone you're interested in, while enjoying a beverage and/or pastry of your liking.

Just like you don't go to war because you like war. You go to war when either your economy is in a slump and you want to jumpstart it, or you want a distraction for your failing economy, or you see some creepy guy jumping in your lawn and you either have some ammo to spare or just really want the guy off your lawn.

Basically your problem is that you think too much. If it's meant to be, you will find a moment when she's relatively alone, and that's when you will go to her, say hi, then mention something relative to the situation (like if it's after a class, you should mention something about the class, etc), then you will ask how she's doing, and if you're still talking after a while, you will ask her for coffee. She either says yes, or no, and you go with that answer and don't look back. Just pretend you have the confidence to do this, and you will be able to do it. And someday you will have enough confidence, so that's an added bonus.

Also, I've decided that in the storyline in my mind, Manhattan will have walls surrounding it like in Escape from New York, except that instead of chaos and criminals, it will be a renaissance type city state.

Whether or not women like coffee is extremely irrelevant in this situation. Coffee is the universal "let's go some place and talk cause we're pretty people."

Pretty much, yeah. It's another way to say "I'd like to get to know you better".

Not that I have that much experience in the field. My relationship with the wife started with her calling me one night and saying "I'm coming to visit you. Where do you live?"

Not really. We already knew each other pretty well - it was just that she was engaged to another guy at the time, but she had broken off the engagement that night and needed to get out of the house for a while. So she came to me... Good move.

Under normal circumstances, I agree. But with this being Night 1 and Patient Zero being on the prowl, too many things can potentially go wrong if I randomize. Plus, the missing amount of actions really can make or break the game. I don't intend on being too lenient in days to come, however. Notice has been served, and all that.
