I will catch the shovel!(body)

As Wade falls, he stretches his body in an attempt to reach the falling shovel beneath him. With the tips of his fingers, he manages to get a hold of the handle.

Jawa kneels next to the pipe, makes a fist, clenches it until it trembles and bursts into flames, and then strikes at the ground. He promptly leaps up and begins dancing around while holding his hand, saying "Owie owie owie!" Seems his fist hit the pipe instead of the ground. It also seems that being on fire doesn't stop punching metal from hurting.

Smudge approaches the hole and watches closely. As Wade zips by once more, Smudge darts out his hand and manages to snatch Wade's collar, but finds himself pulled down to the ground as Wade continues falling. Smudge grunts painfully as he keeps a hold of Wade one handed, his arm being nearly torn from it's socket. Dangling as he is, with a shovel in one hand, and a baseball bat in the other, Wade is unable to help himself up.

Sky takes off his socks. Somehow, this gives him an experience point.

Wade, Smudge, and Sky get XP.

Let's see if I can do this in a way that doesn't result in me hurting myself.

Using my previous test of what the ground is like as a reference point, I shall attempt to punch the ground near the Pipe, intended to be strong enough to poke a hole through that'll allow me to see where the pipe should travel down below ground, but not so hard as it'll cause the floor to fall out from underneath me. I'm hoping to see whether the pipe continues down into whatever blackness was affecting Wade or if it cuts off at floor level. I'm also going to try to remain vigilant towards any possible collapse so that I can avoid falling pray to the same problem Wade encountered.

Also, to avoid hurting the hand I used in failed attempt further, I'll use the other hand for this attempt. (Body)

I'll try to convince wade to drop the shovel and help himself up. (Smarm)

I will throw my shovel at Sky(trait/body)

I will try to pull Wade up onto solid ground. (body)

Jawa takes a deep breath and ceases his owie dance. He returns to the pipe and kneels once more, rearing back his left hand, and punching downward.

CLANG!

"Owie owie owie owie!"

Man, guy just can't catch a break.

Sky kneels and leans over the edge of the hole where Wade is dangling.

"Maybe you should drop the shovel so you can pull yourself up Wade."

"Maybe I should throw it at your head!"

"You could do that, but then I'd likely lose my balance and and fall in with you, making smudge lose his grip, and then we'd be in an even worse situation. Besides, if you drop it, you could still hit me when it comes back around again."

"Good point."

Wade drops the shovel, allowing Smudge to pull him to safety. The shovel falls from above once more, and Sky attempts to get out of the way, only for it to clip his wrist as it goes past. The wrist is broken, and Sky is lucky to get away with such. Had it been going any fast, it may have taken the hand completely. Strangely, Sky doesn't seem to be in pain, or think the broken wrist is a big deal at all. The shovel continues to fall, and soon reaches such tremendous speeds, it is only visible as a continuous blur of motion.

Sky, Wade, and Smudge each get XP.

Wade, can I borrow your bat?

I will throw my bat to knock the shovel out of the hole area(attribute/body)

Dude, seriously, leave the shovel alone, I'm trying to do something here.

Besides, it's now a shovel beam, and your bat will be incinerated by it.

I'll stick my broken hand into the shovel beam, but only up to the wrist, so as to only remove up to the broken bit. (Body)

Before I do, I'll use 5 exp to up my body score to 5.

It isn't a beam, just a very fast moving shovel.
