Oh yeah. I keep that on DVR, pure awesomeness. Yes Rokk, we do tend to run similar on comedy. I daresay you wouldn't like Jim Norton though, rather raunchy.
I was a fan of Louis CK before it became trendy. I can deal with raunchy so long as it's funny.

I was surprised that Bill Maher's standup stunk. His HBO show is great, but his standup is pretty weak. Greg Giraldo and George Carlin are still the best, but Patton Oswalt is moving up, and Mencia's latest was great as well.
Not surprised about Maher. Honestly, I feel his funniness dropped severely from pre-GWB to post where he now acts more like he has an ax to grind to the point where it takes away from his effectiveness (eg: I may not like the Tea Party but when Maher says, "If the Tea Party comes out against defense spending I'll change my tune about them and apologize publically on the show." They did...he never did his end of the bargain. I realize this means I'm admitting to watching Maher but it's usually for his guests now as opposed to, say, mid-90's Maher who had an altogether great show.)
Donald Glover's stand-up...I love how he apologizes right off the bat to anyone who got to his show because of "Troy and Abed". Awkwardly, the recording of his stand-up - "Weirdo" - he...well, he's kind-of "excited" throughout and it's disturbing (and I don't mean he talks excitedly). The routine though is great. His bit on how Charlie Sheen is the only white man allowed to use a certain racial slur was killer.
On the flipside, Dane Cook is causing me no end of headaches with his idiocy from last week, as can be imagined.

Speaking of HBO comedians that were great in the 90's, I miss Dennis Miller. I could relate easily to him and his rants were oddly relaxing for me.

Yeah, it's very disjointed. Some comedians can pull it off, but Maher is too much of a talk show host during his standup. And he comes across as a jerk. A lot of comedians use the same material, make some of the same observations, but don't come across as a jerk.
If you happen to have any GF Avengers I'm very interested in those. I'd be happy to contribute my Cap/Superman/Hulk/GG doubles to the pool.
If by GF Avengers you mean Movie Avengers, then yeah I can hook you up, Quebbs.

I didn't see any AVM generics but then again I have yet to go through the whole box. This dude is awesome, though, because he threw in a Chase Loki (which I am being selfish and keeping....)

Cool deal. I did see a Target Exclusive Joker. You know, with the clown mask from the bank robbery. I'll dig up the rest when I have a moment over the weekend.

Peers, there's some neat stuff in this box if you want some freebies.
You four dudes get front of the line. Like I said, I need to catalog the contents and all before we get the process underway.

I was just telling Stan about Ralphie May the other day. He has two specials on Netflix streaming. They are a LOL crack-up.

What was wrong with Kornheiser? He wasn't great, but tons better than Limbaugh(as would be Carrot Top), and better than Miller and the annoying John Gruden.
I wish they'd give color commentator duties to the NFL network guys, Sapp, Sanders, and Mariucci.

I will say this about Miller and MNF - he loves the game. I mean a deep true love of the game that came across as someone who was nostalgic for the "the fun of the game" and not just the glitz of the NFL
Warren Sapp...he lost me on the whole "My rings are missing as I declare bankruptcy" bit a few months back.

Louis may be the best pure comedian working today and has been for quite some time.
I also am a huge fan of Eddie Izzard(his uniqueness makes him as funny as anyone)
Another one I really like thats a foreign comic is Tommy Tiernan. That man has some seriously good stuff.
Also Russell Peters is another good foreign comic. the first time I heard his stand up I couldn't stop laughing.
so there are a lot of good quality guys doing stand up but most of the great standups are dead and gone.

Did you catch the HBO special last year where Seinfeld (representing the "super star stand up"), Chris Rock (the movie star who does stand up as a "side gig"), Ricky Gervais (the "quirk" comedian and kind-of the host of the show) and Louis CK (the "journeyman of stand-up") did a round table discussion? Some good stuff there and interesting perspectives on the differences of which of them can get away with what.
