We're really missing Rokk's rallying ability. To steal a quote:
This thread has been sick!
This thread needs healing.
This thread needs medicine.
In fact, I'd go so far as to say that what this thread really needs...right now...is a Doctor.
8 votes make a majority, and the last two votes were not counted in time. Actually, I should have ended the day phase several hours ago, I just didn't realize. Sorry, but No Lynch Today.
Cardiff:
The man in the blue coat shouldered his very large science-fictiony kind of gun and ran through the streets at full speed. He had spent too much time and he feared the battle for Earth was going badly.
He spotted a sinister figure in black armor and ran towards it. “Hey there!” he yelled, “what’s all this then?” The figure turned and leveled a rod-like device at the man. “Whoa there, big fella,” the man said, “no need to get violent.” A bright ray left from the rod and struck the man. He fell to the ground, and this time he did not wake up again.
Gallifrey:
The young woman was in a place where she felt truly at peace. True, she was far from her home, but she was here with her husband on a planet that had no equal. However, she no longer could remain here as she was suddenly struck by a familiar yellow beam and killed.
Truffle Shuffle is dead. She was Leela companion to the Fourth Doctor.
Reverent1 is dead (again!). He was still Captain Jack Harkness.
hmmm I dunno. let's try this and see what happens.
Lynch vote: NotYou
I'll back up my vote, now. I didn't have time this morning (running late to work). According to DarqFeonix (whom I now trust ), NotYou is a time lord. The info I've received is that he's also neutral. I only know of two neutral time lords in the Who-verse. And since the Rani hasn't appeared in any of the write-ups, that's why I'm voting this way. Of course I could be wrong. Anyone else got a better suggestion?
