Michigan had had enough. There was no reason to keep Venom around. His focus on Parker made him a liability. As the symbiote tried to attack the people he blamed for his predicament, Michigan took up the hammer (vote) and drove his stake into Lobstrosity’s heart.

The Spider had chosen his next victim. As he stalked the Hatian, he was glad that Gambit had got them to this world. He was having fun here. He was also glad that Gambit was dead. Gambit had a dark side for sure, but he got in the way of the fun too often. Without Gambit, the Spider was free to play with whoever he wanted. He found the Hatian. The man was just standing there; not moving at all. The Spider pounced; blades at the ready. He slammed into something; something invisible; something protecting the Hatian. The Spider went berserk. He slashed and pounded and bit and spit at the invisible shield. He swore and cursed and kicked till he was out of breath. The Hatian watched it all without flinching; only a hint of fear his eyes suggested that he was concerned for his own safety. The Spider stopped. He couldn’t catch his breath. He felt nauseous. It felt like he had been stabbed. The Spider grabbed his shoulder, slumped to the ground and died.

Too many had died and their blood cried out for vengeance. He knew that the guilty had to be punished, but who were the guilty ones? They hid among the innocent. Gambit had been guilty and he had been punished; wreathed in hellfire Gambit had felt the torment that the Witch had felt when the Spider had assaulted her. But who else was guilty? He made a choice. The vampires had killed most of the X-Men, but maybe they had turned one. He would know soon enough. He found his target easily enough. She was concentrating. Forgoing his shotgun; he brought forth his chain and whipped it toward the offender. It wrapped tightly around her neck. With all his supernatural strength he jerked the chain. Her neck popped and she was dead. He moved to examine the body; a vampire shouldn’t have died that easily…

Elsewhere, the Hatian stumbled and nearly fell. The invisible forces that held him in place and that had protected him from the serial killer had vanished and he was free once again.

They had weighed their options for much of the night. They were unsure, but they had to act. “Its too big a risk. She could be a vampire. Or maybe even a zombie.” Vampires and Zombies together would be almost unthinkable. The young blonde woman stepped forward. “I’ll do it. Its no big thing. And then we’ll know for sure.” The young woman concentrated and a brilliant white disk of energy appeared. In an instant she was in the quarters of the Scarlet Witch. The act of teleportation gave the blonde woman the advantage of surprise. She swung her sword and the Scarlet Witch fell…again.

thanks for protecting me, we got rid of the SK as well, so that's good...just gotta deal with the vampires now? did the vampires not make a kill last night? actually sounds like they killed MSU :S
