Or we can treat it like the HCFL and just meld all of the clix figures together, regardless of costume and bio. Don't separate them into the different multiverses. If there was a Cosmic boy in the Earth Prime, Pre-Crisis, and Earth 241 Legions, then the Cosmic Boys we have are theme for all three of those Legions. Dawnstar would be theme for Pre-Crisis Legion only, etc.

That's why I made the progressions together. To avoid confusion and messes like this.

Except it's no more confusing or messy than any other multiverse character.

We know, for example, that the KC figures are not in the same progression/same figures as their "New Earth" incarnations.

Well when the bios and costumes don't match, then it does become messy. And the Legions are definitely not as clear cut as Kingdom Come figures. And like I said before, it would just suck to play a certain Legion like the Pre Crisis Legion and not be able to play Cosmic Boy, Saturn Girl, Lightning Lad, Colossal Boy, Monel EV, Wildfire, Dream Girl, etc.

To make multiple Legions more viable, make them theme for all Legions that have those characters. I don't know why you feel the need to restrict someone if they choose a particular Legion.

That's what I was doing, however that clearly isn't going to satisfy Rokk.

I have no desire to play 3 different Legions, the point was to play a Theme I am interested in playing. It is being decided that that is not possible for me to do so, so I give up. I'm not going to start a fight about this. I don't ####ing care enough.

1) I did as Tanis suggested because it is how ALL the other leagues work. I know you fought for them to work differently and lost Rokk, its unfortunate you have decided to take the fight here, something that was a really fun distraction for me right up until now.
2) I did not choose R Light Lad or whoever the #### he is because he is super awesome - I did it because of (1) above.
3) I chose Colossal Boy because I own the piece, I have never played him, he looks like fun, and in a virtual setting we don't even have the ####ing figure to look at for crying out loud.

If you didn't want to blow things out of proportion you could have just accepted my answer as to what Legion team I am playing and we could have gone on having fun. *You* had a choice. *You* chose to start arguing about what is on the box packaging of the Giants set in comparison to what I am playing, not me. *You* could have let it go, but you didn't. So fine. I won't play the Legion, because I'm not going to sit here for a whole season being told implicitly "you are doing it wrong" via your story posts.

So, now that Legion has had all the fun sucked out of it for me, I'm going back to playing Titans. Any problems with that team lineup I posted before? Or are you going to point out that Hawk and Dove were only semi-regular reserves and not Titans at the time? Is there something that I can do to make that team more accurate before I go through the effort of making teams again?

See ... right there ... why not? I'm saying my Legion is the current one ... but that isn't good enough for some reason. I don't get it. What the hell is the problem with me playing the current Legion with figures that exist in the game now? Cripes, we don't even have pictures of the figures. This just smacks of digging your heels in to make me *not* play the team I want, and that is what is driving me crazy right now.

I respect you a lot Rokk, but man, it doesn't seem like you respect me, my knowledge of comics, my intelligence or really anything about me. Then, seeing you pick apart teams that people were planning on having fun themes, that they believed in their heart of hearts were real, fun and legit, was frustrating as hell for me, because this league was supposed to be just a bit of fun. I mean, it was as if you thought people were trying to mix-max or something - when clearly a lot of them were just having fun.

As I said, you could use whatever you wanted...I was just wanting to make sure I had things down right for you and then got confused because of certain characters like Lu, Chuck and Micro-Lad and wanted to see if we were on the same page.

If I was that concerned about "Theme over Fun" as you felt in the thread, would I have worked so hard to try and help Kontrol come up with a team with Immortus (and even reminded him he had suggestion to folks like Captain Mar-Vell if we allowed the guest-appearances) or reminded Ice if he went with X-Nation he could get access to Namor if I was feeling folks were power-gaming? Do I like to see theme more-or-less adhered to so we don't become "just one of the other Leagues"? Yes, but not to the point I ever tried shooting down someone's team and, if folks felt that way, I apologize.

Gentlemen, please. Superclone, your team is fine. There are waaay too few Legion pieces made to split them into their respective Legions by strict comic appearence. Can you? Yes, Rokk did it when he argued it, BUT, in this League, where you can't grab anyone to WC to, you need every Legionarre you can get your hands on. If you are playing the current Legion, you are fine. As for Luorna, I think her dial is supposed to reflect her triplicating as it goes up in experience, but how about this:

So, please keep the Legion. I wouldn't use the ATA, as it really doesn't give you much for what you are paying for, but that's just me. An ATA that almost wants me to kill my best piece so everyone clears a token? Maybe not.

I mean, think of it this way. What if I asked you "What is your theme?" You say All Star Squadron. I say "bull#### - none of your pieces are right ..."

Hawkman - wrong costume, shouldn't have the wings on the head, not theme
Spectre - the Spectre we have in game represents the power levels of Jim when he was resurrected, not when he was with all star squadron (I actually think this is the case)
Sandman - sorry, this is wrong for All-Star as well - this is the one from Neil Gaiman's run (probably not but you get my point)
Green Lantern - nope not him - this is the rookie, but the sculpt is clearly that of an old man (I mean just look at the detail on it). You should use the LE because we know it is Alan as the only GL in the world then
Sheira - no - first of all, she wasn't All-Star until a Retcon, so that's out. Then, you are using either the Icons one, which is Sheira in Kendra's body, or the Brightest Day one - and it is again, Sheira in Kendra's body (which is weird). But anyways ... not theme.

And so on. Now, you probably have lots of great reasons for playing any of those pieces and claiming them all to be theme. But if I came back and kept poking, and chipping in saying "no you are wrong - I'm just going to say that your team was a bunch of clones put together by Per Degaton post Crisis but before Zero Hour", I'm betting you would get frustrated as well.

Would it help if I uploaded a picture of my Colossal Boy? I painted him to have his Pre-Crisis costume. And Cos...And Saturn Girl...

I have reworked my team to make as easy for Rokk to tell his story as possible. I have taken his points on board, replaced with current E's, done some research and dropped Bouncing Boy in place of Phantom Girl. My only request is (if he is still speaking to me and willing to write it) that he write the Colossal Boy on this team as the current Colossal Boy - irrespective of what he represents in the Heroclix world.

It turns out that Triplicate Girl is a current member of the current Legion, as Duplicate Damsel, able to create an unlimited number of herself. However, she is not active. I have never played either, so I would like to keep them on my team. So she is a visiting guest star in my line up.
