I can't find a song and I really can't remember much about it. I know spike posted it on facebook and the artist had a name that had to do with a comic book I think and he was Asian. Facebook is acting up or something as it won't let me look through Spike's past posts :s.

So my big day at the Tigers game!?! sucked.

The game was called 2 hours after its scheduled start time on account of rain that may impact the completion of a 9 inning game. The rain was moderately strong 3 hours after the supposed start time!! 3 HOURS Guess what usually takes about 3 hours?
a baseball game.

So we walk back to my buddy's car and proceed to find it broken into and trashed. GPS stolen, his wife's jacket gone, a few other items, and window glass all over inside the car. a string of cars had been broken into. called the cops and the city of Detorit doesn't even send any out for a broken into car. They do a police report over the phone, or we can drive to a station a few miles away, or we can flag down a cop they told us over the phone.
No problem! There are about 50 police within walking distance due to the game. Sorry, none of them can come over and give us a police report or come investigate the obviously brilliant car burglary ring. What a debacle

So we wasted a 260 mile round trip for a game that should have been played, have to both change our plans to go back today because our tickets are now for an afternoon game today!
Awesome.

the moral of that story?

Avoid Detroit.


Why exactly can't Baseball be played in the rain?

Wade, if Superman boosters are used in the Draft, do not pass on Lex. That's a great figure in multiplayer games people tend to forget how nasty he gets late dial.

I did not enjoy playing Clix with the Supes set at all. even some of our Gauntlet tourneys were Supes sealed.

I have yet to fully enjoy the game again since.

By far, my favorite set for sealed games has been the Hulk set.

Yeah, for playability I think it really was balanced in sealed, but more importantly it was a cursed set for one of my players.

We've got a guy who loves to play one-man-armies or at least the big, beefy pieces.
Through all of the Hulk sealed, I think the only figure over 100 points this poor schlub ever pulled was Ghost Rider.
It was hysterical for the rest of us.

I've been thinking of buying a case of Indy on the cheap and running a sealed Indy game again, low point figures and all that BCF.

Not counting the Sealed IC matches on HCO, I have played in sealed events of Indy and IC in the last 12 months. Both were fun, but lacking a bit of the spark of HeroClix 2.0.

The guys at my shop did that several months ago on a weekend when I was out of town. I'd try it myself if I could get some of the pieces.
