My wife and I were going to go bowling with some friends then go back to one of the couples houses for an evening of drinking and game playing, but my mother backed out on keeping the kids. Now plans are to see if my MIL will keep them, but she has been sick.

I have been on an X-wing kick myself. In fact I am devoting time now to customize my X-wing carrying case that I can take to friends' houses. I have never had time to make a tournament and I am sure that I would suck big time because I just buy a single expansion ship when it comes out except for the large ships, which apparently have the spectacular upgrade cards.

That commute sucks.


And as much as I loathe the way WK has changed the communication and rules, the character selection in the last few sets has been pretty good.

I have decided to only play Clix on a casual basis now, except for sealed.

I haven't had much time to play anything, but I've pretty much thrown in the towel on clix. I am tired of trying to keep up with the one-set mechanics and the budget just doesn't support trying to obtain what is needed to play against the soul-crushing new hotness.

I am trying to get some X-Wing games going with the couple of guys who around here who originally expressed interest in it. I thought it was a fun game.

And I want this, too!

I've been spending more time playing bass. I bought a second computer so that I can try recording some of my noise. So less gaming, more bassing.

"Cheap" compared to msrp, but that would still be a lot of money to spend to make a game look prettier without actually adding anything to the gameplay. I think my completionism for the game is only limited to things that actually affect gameplay.
