Okay, a HCRealms questions for you moderators amongst our LPC group...
I agreed to a trade a couple weeks ago with a trader who shall remain nameless, but he had good iTrader scores with 70 positives. We agreed to SR for SR level trade, and he is low itrader. Never did we mention any simul-send arrangement. I've done those before, but only with a couple of you guys on here or with people who had nearly identical ratings.
1-The day after he sent his end (but sent the tracking number the next day), he sent me an email that said: "Can I get some update since I mailed your package?"
I responded that his package had just been shipped the day before, so I had not received it yet. When I got his, I would send mine ASAP.
his response:
Re: trade
I mailed yours yesterday, usps 9500115898276228006605
I did not realize you were going to wait to receive my package before mailing yours.

2. I get his end of the trade, and sent his end the very next day, with a tracking number. It arrived last week. I asked today about getting feedback and this conversation ensued.
Nameless trader dude 08/29/2016, 21:27 I thought you should have spelled out that you were going to wait to get my package before sending yours, but otherwise excellent transaction
aqhoffman 08/29/2016, 21:38 I have something like 150 trades on here (with like 130 unique traders) and you are the first person who thinks that simul-send is some sort of unspoken right. I don't even understand why you would think that we would skip the forum rules without specifically discussing that. I will admit to simul-sending people who were close to me in itrader ratings and that I'd traded with before. Have I missed something in the trading rules in the past few months?
I know I came off like a dick in my response, but he 3 times sent email referencing that he expects simul-send, even after I wrote saying that I would send after I received his.
Have I made some error I am not aware of?
We've traded a few times and you never once offered to simul-send. Now I find out you will simul-send but I'm just not cool enough.
I thought the rules of the trading forum was that the lower itrade rating sends first. You have the option to simulsend but it would have to be worked out ahead of time. I make exceptions at times but for the most part I follow the rules.
Catering to the lowest common denominator since Feb 2003.
Now don't go offending him by telling him he's married! He hates that!
That kinda thing is usually followed by him explaining there is no common law marriage where he lives.
Catering to the lowest common denominator since Feb 2003.
After a little time to reflect, I don't feel bad that I sounded like a dick in the email reply. I'm sure he's a fine guy and he's been on here since the beginning, so he should've known to communicate any deviation from the rules.
Hey, when is Smudge getting back on here to set up our Clixmas exchange Secret Santa?
You did nothing wrong. Even if the member put something in their trade thread that they need to simulsend it doesn't mean that it has to happen.
Speaking of annoying things. I bought a member's collection and paid ASAP. It has been a month with very little communication and I had to escalate to a claim in Paypal. Then I get a message today, literally the last day until they side with me and refund my money, I get a DC#. At this point I don't want the clix anymore and am frustrated that I have to accept the clix if they arrive. As soon as I get the package I will have to video myself opening it up because at this point I don't trust the person.

My guess is that the guy probably trades on Facebook where most of it is simulsend.
