300 point Modern Age, no relics/resources/team bases/colossals. There are a couple of newbies showing up next Wednesday, so let's try not to be too "smashmouth" with our teams. Prizes will be from the SLoSH kit (Superman action figure and/or Shrinking Violet).

Saturday, May 10
12-3pm
AvX Month 4! This is the final event, for all the fun things. 600 points constructed. Only Phoenix relics/resource allowed, not including the Magik shard. Your team must include one figure from either AvX starter, and all other figures must share a keyword with that figure, Marvel only. Dark Phoenix Cyclops will be awarded to the overall winner of the 4 months, but we're also playing for Phoenix Buster Iron Man. Everyone will get both team bases, too (while supplies last!).

FRIDAY, MAY 9th at RIW HOBBIES: 500PT SILVER AGE (any character with a card) MARVEL vs. DC. EACH PLAYER BRINGS A MARVEL AND A DC TEAM WINNER OF THE DICE ROLL DETERMINES WHICH TEAM TO PLAY. NO RESOURCES OR RELICS. $5 BUY-IN.

SATURDAY, MAY 10th at RIW HOBBIES: It's Customer Appreciation Day!

Starting at 12pm there will be a 500pt Modern Age Game. Buy-in is $10 and the matches will be win or go home style until there is 1 undefeated player. Rounds will be 45mins long. Prizes are determined by turnout but at most will only go out to 4th place. If at least 10 players participate the winner will receive store credit enough to purchase a brick of Deadpool when it comes in.

Starting at 1pm will be 4 man 1 booster battle royal aka Origins and GenCon. Cost will be $10 and the winner will get a prize. These will go until there is no more interest or product, whichever comes first.

There will also be food and deals throughout the store.
