Oh, and someone mentioned Buckaroo Banzai in another thread and some of the actors in it. I realized I had never seen it, so I'm watching it now. Someone totally needs to run a Buckaroo Banzai mafia game.
I would totally call dibs on the World Crime League.
I'm going to see what she can do to correct the mistake.
It's gonna register as a price change in MLS. She's going to have to kill the listing (which should zero out the price history) and relist it. It'll look flaky if someone goes into the listing history on Redfin, but it's not a fatal error. Speaking as someone who has managed to sell in this market, if this dingbat seems certain that she can actually move your place for anything close to what you're asking, *do not* fire her. If her reviews are from folks who've sold in the past two years, she's some kind of miracle worker.

I get the impression you think I'm overvaluing my house.
I completely agree with you. The sad thing is she has the number written down. It's in the contract.

You could fire her based on this, but see what she can do. Honest mistakes do happen. If she's been in business this long, she should know how to fix it.

Not at all. I think she needs to list at the price you agreed on (with a possible hit to her commission when you get to the negotiating phase). But if she can get serious buyers into your place, you're going to have to accept that her having zero memory for hugely important details might just be a personality quirk that you're going to have to live with.

She factored in a 3,000 dollar playroom in the final price as well. Honestly, if she can sell it for the price it's currently listed at, I'm fine with it all.I just don't like starting out so much lower.
