Howdy all, hope everyone had a good X-Mas/New Years... been a while since I perused the ol' Chit-Chat thread, so sorry if I missed some big announcements.

Back to work this week after 7 weeks of paternity leave...

Heh, it's the coldest of the year down here at a moderate 55... You poor saps...

NorCal, we've had our doors open and wearing t-shirts. It hit 70 last weekend!

Went into San Francisco on Sunday night to catch Book of Mormon (absolutely hilarious, a must-see)... it was stunningly beautiful, even leaving the show. This is San Fran... "the coldest winter I ever experienced was summer in SF".

You can have your heat, I'm doing just fine without it. My major complaint right now is that it is not cold enough.

I'm with you, brother. I'll take cold over heat any day.

While I'm not a fan of the heat, I am a fan of the beach and pool and thusly I take the heat over the cold.

I will take my heat in Texas over bone chilling cold any day of the week. When its hot the pool and the ocean make for a great place to chill.

While I do occasionally like a trip to the mountains for skiing I struggle too much with the cold and prefer the beach and the sun.

That's the thing: Where I live, you can keep the cold out as long as you use the right clothes. I know that is not an option in other places though.
On the other hand, when it's too hot it doesn't matter how you dress.

At least we don't have mosquitoes the size of pit bulls here.

I don't have a house or a car, so neither is an issue.
