Quebbs might already be asleep and Grinner is limited in his play. I'm not sure when he usually gets on. So I think we might be twiddling our thumbs for the night. How anti-climatic.
Grinner would have loved to have been on earlier - it's been a crazy day.
She really was super, just as her name implied. Faster than a speeding bullet, more powerful than a locomotive and all that. And what was her competition here? A dwarf with a sword, a teenager with identity issues, a newscaster whom seems to be confused by his presence here and a young man whom no one seemed to peg down. Was he a mental patient, a freak, or just a good actor? Regardless, she had no real danger.
Or did she? The dwarf was a master strategist, the girl a cunning manipulator and the newscaster from a different world altogether. But it was the young man whom had the biggest secret. For while he had been challenging only the nicer sides of his personalities, a darkness was waiting yet to be revealed. Inside him also lived a deranged teenager, a mindless zombie, and the spirit of one of the most prolific serial killers ever to live. When push came to shove, it would be the final of the personalities that would win the day. A girl that is unkillable? James Patrick March always did love a challenge.
viciousbuddha is dead. He was Kara Danvers (Neutral/Serial Capturer/Supergirl) also known as Supergirl.
Congrats to the winner.

This game only had 2 neutrals. Kara and the Doctor. Neither were a survivor. Kara was my Serial Capturer (I can't call her a killer. Seems wrong) and the Doctor took over his companion's win condition. My last few games, the neutral survivor has claimed such early on and been left alone all game and coasted to a win, and I was sick of it. So I ditched the role. I should have realized the lack of neutrals made the town stronger. Should maybe have had 1 more mafia to compensate. Still, I don't think this was thier downfall.
You'll notice a lot of duplicate powers. Again, something I did on purpose. I was also tired of people claiming a power and getting a free ride. So I made lots of duplicates to add suspicion. This, I think, worked well.
The mafia did have some bad luck, with the serial killer going after them. Still can't figure why vicious killed adam at the end. Had he killed a town and lead a lynch of Adam, he had a chance. Still, the mafia did no favours to themselves by all claiming who they actually were. Except gfish, but he claimed someone else that would have been mafia (That's an OMAC moment, right? Haven't seen that in ages). Once the theme was figured out, they were all doomed.
Anyways, more notes and role coming later. I'm having people over for a board game night in about an hour, so it'll have to wait until morning.
lol. I think a lot of mafia (and neutrals in your case) made the mistake of making a true name claim. There is usually a theme to the mafia and you never want to even look like you are remotely close to that theme. Just waiting for one more vote and that should be game. Unless there is another mafioso hiding somewhere....
*looks around skeptically*
To be fair to vb, he didn't claim as much as he got outed by Johanna's name copping.
Glad we pulled through. The bad lynches mid-game could have doomed the Town.

Agreed - I really liked this

And Darqles, who claimed a role already in the game
Great game and congratulations to the winners!!
I got outed so early I really thought I was done for sooner. I decided to just stay with who I was instead of trying to work out a different role. The last night action I sent in I had been sick all day and literally didn't care whose name I sent in lol

I Think it was a good move to stay with who you were since you had Powers to back it up. There was no reason to doubt your claim. If you had killed a few more Townies things would have turned out very differently.
I don't think I have ever targeted the same target four nights in a row like I did in this game. Truff seemed like the best target and it finally worked the 3rd time, with my death coming on the 4th.
I am pretty surprised VB went after me the last night. If he had taken out town instead, it would have been 3 town, 1 mafia and 1 SK. Lynch one scum, night kill again, and VB only has to convince one person to vote wrong for the win. I thought he had a really good shot.

I don't think the game was unbalanced. Had VB killed town on the last night , it would have come down to lynch or lose with three players left. Ignatz made a good call on Mal early, and we had a couple of members with low participation.
