Hopeless Dragon and Disaster Dragon are the 2 mian categories of Dragons now. They both aim to overwhelm the opp with massive beaters but Disaster is more consistant. I honestly don't know enough about either to be able to give you an accurate description on the differances, etc.
Ill have a look into it now. Im in a yugi frenzy atm watching some old school clips of kaiba, playing 5ds and chattin here whilst thinkin about my drgon deck...
Its hard to beleive I can be this much geek with a house, partner and baby huh?! :S
Im sure I can google it tho.. google is my friend!
The Deck Depot is usually one's friend if one doesn't know how certain Decks works. Also looking online tends to bring them up just by putting in such titles as "Disaster Dragon" and whatnot; can sometimes pull up Decklists posted by people or from tournament results and such.
Dragon Canyon/"Ravine" coming out will help Dragons quite a bit really, despite being primarily aimed at, of course, Dragunity (being one of the new SD19 cards and all)
I get the idea of things now but Im still not convinced of the builds.
I guess play testing them would be my only option to truly get them.
Im not sure on this dragons ravine thing. I know how it is good but at present I didnt think dragons had a problem getting cards into the graveyard. Especially as the stuff used atm seems to have draw power as well as dumping a load in the grave. I dunno.
Once an admin sorts out my account I will post my deck into deck depo but alas that may be a while :(
Stupid registration problems!!!
Also just wondering what the genesis loop is?
I assume its genesis dragon and ladd is light and darkness dragon.
Is it using redmd to summon genesis and and tribute for ladd to keep field presence?
Well, it's obviously been working from what I've seen. Looking and performing are two different things after all.
Also, how things work in more casual Duels or local tournaments and work can differ a lot compared to the big, official tournaments out there.
It's pretty much WHY things like Super Rejuvenation and such aren't used all that often. If you really want to get big draw power out of it, then you'd have to find some way of Tributing and/or discarding a bunch of Dragons in 1 turn which there is not a whole lot of doing in that people would be willing to get, at best, an even exchange of cards with all the stuff you'd need to use in order to draw out that much stuff.

Wasn't that the principle of deep draw dragon ? Using cards of consonance to dump white stone of legend, draw 2 and grab blue-eyes, then discard blue-eyes to trade-in, draw 2, possibly more discard cards, or dragons being sent to the graveyard in battle or by effects, activate super rejuvenation. In my experience you sometimes draw so much its pointless to activate super rejuvenation because you'd have to discard too much to the hand size limit.
I think so...didn't feel very consistent when I used it...guess I just had bad luck of the draw with that Deck. Dragunity makes it feel moreso with Treasure of Harmony with their much higher number of 1000 or less ATK Dragon-Type Tuners.

well i also ran 2 debris dragon in that deck. And triple reckless greed and future fusion were also staple, which added a lot to the consistency.
If I recall, the skeleton was something along the lines of
Makes me thank god Treasure of Harmony was nerfed to how it is now (exactly how it was used in the anime) to how it originally was (Destiny Draw for Tuners).
