Attributes don't combine do they? Because I could use my hypersensitivity to find just the right place to throw my ball, and JK could use his ninja equipment to dice up some vegetables.

I think after this is out of beta, you should just double the cost of skill points and attributes. I've yet to miss a roll, so getting XP has been very easy. If you double the cost, you needn't worry about costing people XP for combining attributes and examining. Something to consider.
The thing is, the new attributes seem less like integral things that grant bonuses in certain situations (like Knowledge of Cooking grants bonuses to being Hannibal Lector, apparently) but instead new, physical things that can be done. Maybe the attributes could be divided into two categories or something?
Like, I don't see the Raccoon Tail exactly being used to give a bonus die roll often, but rather being used to give more options for actions.
Any of this making sense?

Pretty much. I don't think any of the attributes people currently have would be giving stat bonuses, frankly.
