How did Vorlon survive this game? I Thought he was mafia, got killed, and then people forgot about him? Something like that?
That was Velius :-/ He just hadn't posted and when we tried to lynch him, people were like "No, he's not mafia...he's neutral!" and it cost us the game...because supposedly I was being stupid or something *shrugs* I had it all planned out, no one else wanted to play ball so they lost *shrugs*

Honestly, at that point I didn't care about losing. I just felt MJ was the way to go. He was the only participating mafian, so since the mafia would have to make a kill, with vorly not participating his night kill would have to randomized. 2/3 chance of the town winning or a townie/neutral win.
Your killer was doctored (but he got lynched the next day).
BTW, N1 happened like this:
SK Janitored his 1st kill, Mafia used their Janitor, and Vlad grabbed the Janitor power to take out the freakin' Don!
This reminds me to award him an Honorable Mention.
Boo-yah!
My night 1/ day 2 was awesome. I killed a mafioso using their own guy, then was able to use that knowledge to push for a lynch on the guy whose power I stole.
And then I failed 4-5 times after that.
Still, that was a really fun role.

Sorry I check in once and then trust my don. I can never remember that stuff. I usually lose the links night 2 anyway so I pretty much hate proboards with a passion
Yeah, you've done it before. I like a good discussion on the proboards though, so it annoys me when someone doesn't participate... If you lose the link you can always ask a teammate or a mod to send it to you.
I wasn't that active on the proboards myself this time around - I had trouble paying attention and K-ness seemed to have a good grip on things. After he died Volron submitted actions once, and then we missed a night with no actions (Night 8 I think). Then I started submitting things and talking to myself basically. If I had paid attention more, I might have been able to end the game sooner... Some mistakes were made.
Anyway, I just thought it was a little disrespectful to complain about Vorlon not participating when he was a lot more active on the proboards than you were.
I also thought it was fun that the cult got the vig, and then tried to get the SK, but he was unrecruitable. A Cult with 2 RBs and a kill would have been nuts!

This reminded me that I wanted to check on the wording of Vlad's role at end-game.
Allowing him to copy the night hit seems unbalanced in my opinion. First, Vlad's role states he copies a player's power. A night hit (as I use them in my game) is not a player's power but an action they are assigned in lieu of their regular power. I understand that moderators run games differently, so the wording and usage is not a big deal to me.
By allowing him to copy the hit instead of the player's actual power, you also inadvertently turned him into a cop. So he managed to off two mafia members in one phase cycle. It's possible to pull off with a variety of power options, but I feel it shouldn't have worked this way.

That's not Chi's fault. He asked what I thought. I designed the power to copy whatever the target player was doing that night. I honestly thought the fact that the mafia had a rev tracker would be more of a gripe from people.
